Ultimate Night Vision Dvr Mini Digital Video Recorder

For years I was using $3k digital recorder to transfer video from my DVR to my computer for editing & posting to social media. The Elgato device gets the job done at a fraction of the cost.

Great night vision.

I was at first very skeptical about digital tech for night vision. But once I received and tried out my optic, I was impressed to say the least. Great buy.

This is a great digital night vision camera/ riflescope. It does however require the use of an IR illuminator to have night vision capabilities. This is because all digital devices do not amplify available light like traditional tube night vision devices. This monocular does see infrared light very well though. The images day or night are excellent. Very clear. Digital zoom works well, but at maximum zoom image can be slightly grainy, although not bad. Color, B&W, and green modes are helpful in different lighting. Reticles are very fine, useful, and clear. The zeroing is a bit complicated, but once you figure it out it works well. This scope is well built, and not that heavy. Controls are fairly intuitive. Rifle mount is solid aluminum and mounts tight. IR illuminator can be focused for different distances and is very bright Overall a great multipurpose monocular, especially for the price.

Hands down the best digital night vision scope that I have owned. The Clarity is unbelievable for the price range that this scope meets.

I have a canon video camera with no night vision, and to be honest it was bad in low lighting, so I needed to get a light that would be bright in pitch dark areas so the video would look good. This light does that, the only problem is sometimes its too bright and it is very hard to look in the direction of the light. For what I do it is what I needed but if you need a light for interviews or something go elsewhere because this light can hurt your eyes.

The ATN x-sight LTV performs well. Video is crisp and clear. Night vision distance would probably improved with larger infrared light. Easy to sight in. Works well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve got to say I really like the SmartCamera. The video is clear, the night vision works well, and the 180° field of view is really nice. The virtual pan it does while following someone’s motion makes it seem like the camera is really physically tracking them (when “Person Detection” is enabled).
