Ultra Wide Monitors For Work

I was looking for a new work from home monitor, but also one I can hook my PS5 up. After looking at a lot of ultra wide monitors, I realized most ran in 60Hz, which wasn't going to work for me, and I stumbled across this one. I absolutely love the amount of space it gives me for work, and the display for my gaming is great!! I've had zero issues with it, and have even suggested to a few others to look into it. For the price, it's a steal for a terrific piece of hardware to work and to game.

From 3 27 inch monitors to one Ultra wide 40 inch and a vertical LG 27 inch. The amount of screen space takes a little getting used to. From 2560x1440 to 5120x2160 is a big taking getting used to, but the amount of work and play screen space is incomparable. Although the letters and menus are a bit smaller, bringing up the screen to 25 inch from the eyes surely manages the problem. Bought my Mac Studio and this LG ultra wide from B&H, rapid, secure, transfer of hardware, no weeks waiting for it like other sites. Will be buying again!!!!

I got this for my Pentax K1 and to do all my ultra wide work. The first copy had a mis-allignment issue so I sent it back. Thanks to B&H's no hassle exchange policy. I got a second copy that is simply superb. The image quality of this lens is pro-class, hands down. Yes it does have a distortion issue but the fix is a simple click away in Photoshop or Lightroom.

I use these fixed ND filters for my ultra wide lens work. No color shift with them. You can’t go wrong with anything Tiffen.

I was going to buy a ultra-wide zoom, but since my main zoom lens goes down to 24, I'll only need the ultrawide focal length. Once I'm to that point, I might as well just go wide and crop tighter in post; hard to get out of slide photo habits. 14mm for full frame is plenty wide and many flashes have a spreader panel that allows the flash to work well with 14mm focal lengths. So I spent a lot less for this lens and put it towards a zoom at the other end of the spectrum. It's fully manual, so I have to remember to focus the lens (work, work, work).

A lens that makes you tremble - with fear or happiness - or both. It's wide, in fact Ultra Wide Angle (UWA) at 7mm and that opens a lot of opportunities but also some challenges. That goes for any UWA - you'll have to learn how to use it. This particular UWA is a winner and the recommendations I read before my purchase where right: This is a highly recommended lens by many people out there, and some even bought into the Olympus system because of this lens. Build is the best you can imagine. But keep that lens-hood on when you walk through dense forest like I do so that you don't damage the front element. Keep the price-sticker glued on to the lens will make you remember how to handle it carefully.... Image quality is worth the money, period. I've got 11-22 and that's a sharp and overall very good lens, but 7-14 is sharper and though it's wider there's less CA. It's an unbelievable masterpiece, a lens to keep for the rest of my life.
