I have a couple of these as well as a couple of the 60cm version and would heavily recommend this one over the other. They are both well built and easy to use (though there are some inner baffle option oddities I am scratching my head about). The main difference is that with an octagonal design - this softbox is just big enough to cover a human subject without being so far away as to be harsh. The 60cm simply can't do it. Both use the very small Godox mount which makes them compact and easy to transport. Using this with an AD300 Pro and I am very happy with the results. Definitely need more Godox mount options - but I can adapt my Bowens mods easily enough. I am liking Godox more with each passing year and no longer have a reason to even toy with the idea of a different lighting brand. Nice job with this extremely compact modifier. Yes, this Speed Ring is compatible with my Siros strobes. I have used it once professionally (with a 60cm by 60cm softbox) and it was easy to use. 5 |
