[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I set this camera up on top of my fridge pointed at the front door and it picks up every time someone comes through the door which is no biggie when you’re expecting someone but definitely helpful to see and keep an eye on things! The microphone is a nice touch to connect with people too.

Today, 12-11-19, my Olympus 17mm 1.8 came to my door. At 80 yrs. old, I took my photography years ago with my Pentax K1000, So, I mounted the 17mm on my Olympus M10 Mark 111 and took a manual shot in low light. It was Great !!!! Several shots outdoors with this lens and I love it. I switched to auto focus, which is very fast and the details are very sharp also. Buy this Olympus 17mm 1.8 and you will not go wrong. I was in to purchase a 15mm, 2.8 Laowa Venus Lens, a wide lens to landscape and taking all a museum piece from a small distance. I have researched the Laowa Venus 15mm 2.8 lens for my Sony a7iii. It seemed the right choice. The counter salesman (very helpful and awesome attendant) got out from his desk computer a lens that seemed my choice but was a 100 bucks more pricey. Well that seemed wrong, but ... which one was that (?) a Laowa 12 mm 2.8 ? Hey, wait, more aperture for a 100 bucks more. Well it's...a good idea, isn't it? So I took it with in. And ... I just enjoyed it (another positive point to you, counter guy). My Best pictures , ever, of: The Metropolitan Museum (The Met),The Brooklin Bridge, The Atlas Statue at the Rockefeller Center, wow, and many more, within great quality, a good amount of lighting in, and minimum distortortion. Believe me, if you want an full frame E mount (FE) wide angle this is it : this is the right choice. ----about the author: advanced amateur photographer and B&H addicted.

This stand was better than expected. The legs spread very wide which makes it quite stable with a 42 reflector, even without using a counter balance. It meets my needs admirably and with minimal cost.

I am using the lens for more than 6 months on my Leica M6 now, so I am not a pixel counter. I just love it shooting it wide open. The colors and the bokeh are a dream. On film, the lens is super sharp. I also never had a problem with the shifting focus described in other reviews. I never had a 50mm summilux, so I can’t compare. But I use this combined with a 90mm summicron and wouldn’t want to give it back. This lens really has a character that’s suits me very well.

I use these on our sliding rack stations. They fit in a 19 wide space and the built in touch pad works very well.

I use this for teaching online since the COVID-19 quarantine. The wide angle view and the high level microphone are just what I needed!

When I initially bought my Aputure Spotlight mount, it came with the 19 degree lens and used it a lot over the year I had it. But found myself about half the time of use, to also need a wide span of light or hope I had the room to back up the light. Well, enter my need for the 36 degree lens. Many people talk about the output not being as bright as the 19 degree, true. But most of the time I am not blasting my Aputure 300Dmkii at full 100%. The spotlight offers a lot of light in a wide area. In my use, I haven't noticed any colour aberration on the edges and quality of the lens is the same as the spotlight. Metal housing and very sturdy. On a plus side, it also comes with a nice thick soft case to protect the lens when not in use. Overall, if anyone is looking to add a wider area of use for your spotlight, get the 36 degree lens and pair it with your 19 degree lens and you have a duo combo for your Aputure Leko attachment.
