Well thought out design plus quality, weather resistant materials. The pack handles my D810 plus a Nikon 70-200 & a Nikon 24-70, plus other essential gearI. I shoot regularly along the Oregon coast and this pack is great for exploring while offering ready access to camera equipment without having to set the pack down in sandy and wet conditions. Could be improved with a better set up for tripod carry.

I can get up close and personal even with my 70-200mm f/2.8L IS 2 USM. I feel like no matter what the weather or lack of scenery, there's always gonna be something interesting to shoot with this piece of gear in my bag. It's light weight, well built and you retain auto-focus.

I've had other vests, but this is by far the best. Pockets are big enough for a 70-200 f/2.8 lens with hood on. I bought two, one XL for cold weather over a bulky coat, and another just Large for warmer weather and inside work.

I own several rain covers but will be using this one for the majority of my foul weather shooting. This rain cover is easy to use, goes on quickly, and give me all the access I need. The material in nice and soft and very quiet. I use it with 14-24,24-70,70-200,80-400.

I use this on a Canon 24-70 2.8 L. It does a great job of weather sealing the lens and protecting the front element from damage. For a mid range lens (not too wide) I would have to really work hard for a reason to pay more for a filter. B+W makes great glass.

I purchased this for my 70-200mm f2.8 for a football game that I had field access and for which I was not sure what the weather was going to be during the game. I wanted some general protection and this was it. It comes in 3 small sections that you slide over your lens & lens hood. They all fit very snug and there was no worry that it would move or fall off at any time. As it turned out, the game night weather was clear, but very cold. I had this lens on a 2nd body with a Black Rapid strap. It was great to pull up the 2nd camera/lens and not feel the cold metal of the 70-200mm barrell. The cover does not impact your access to the focus or zoom ring. I am not sure how the cover would do in more severe weather but I like that it does give basic protection from keeping it on sling hanging from my side.

I sent my 70-200mm G2 to Tamron for repair but they returned it with an older model rear cap, and the lens wasn't repaired. I returned it to them after a phone call and a note both requesting the proper cap, and again it was returned with an older model rear cap (lens worked the second time though). This cap completely covers and protects the weather seal gasket, the old model doesn't- for that reason this beats even Canon's own caps for weather sealed canon lenses. Now I use these on every weather sealed lens I own.

Great vest. I'm using it in an underground coal mine. It's like having an extra pair of hands. It distributes weight evenly. I use it for batteries, flashes, all sorts of accessories. There are no pockets for big lenses, but that's O.K. It would make the vest too heavy and cumbersome. It's pretty good at repelling lime and coal dust and water and is not likely to tear easily. Pockets are lined with soft material, which is easy on lenses. These vests are a little pricey, but worth it. They're professional gear and are made for rugged use.
