Underground Weather Camera Setup

We mostly use it to protect our lens for our camera at work, being as we drag the camera through steam tunnels, in mud trenches, inside underground vaults, and through all sorts of other environments. The filter screws on firmly to the end of the lens and protects the lens from scratches, dirt, dust, etc. without distorting any of the pictures.

It’s been over a month and love the weather feature. was real easy to install and setup.

I own two of these units and they have both performed reliably and admirably, even in wet weather. It is easy to use and easy to setup.

You never know when the weather changes, there is no reason not to have a few of these stashed away in your camera bag!

Keeps your camera and lens protected in bad weather .

Easy to setup and withstands the weather. I had it assembled on my deck for a couple of weeks and it went through a few rainstorms with no issues. Easy to break down and put away as well.

Super easy setup, using on the exterior of a toy trailer. Will see how it holds up in extreme weather over time, but so far so good. Highly recommend.

I purchased two with two additional mounting plates we use up to four cameras in the field for weather. Setup is seconds. One of the best features is it folds up to 16 you can pack in overnight bag for carry on plane. I would recommend this for people that walk on trails, outdoor great for rapid setup.

Great vest. I'm using it in an underground coal mine. It's like having an extra pair of hands. It distributes weight evenly. I use it for batteries, flashes, all sorts of accessories. There are no pockets for big lenses, but that's O.K. It would make the vest too heavy and cumbersome. It's pretty good at repelling lime and coal dust and water and is not likely to tear easily. Pockets are lined with soft material, which is easy on lenses. These vests are a little pricey, but worth it. They're professional gear and are made for rugged use.
