Underwater Camera Easy Drawing

I took shots at dark. The camera saw what I could not. It is going to be quite useful in my underwater adventures.

I have not yet used this device underwater, but it's easy to see that it's a very well engineered product. All controls are easily accessible, and the camera goes into the housing with no problem. Sony did a great job in building this unit. It's very well made and I cannot think of anything they could have done to make it better. I will use it with the RX100 M5, and this will increase it's value to me.

If you are looking for an easy to use and no maintenance underwater point and shoot camera, this is the one. It's solid like a rock but feel comfortable in hand. It's fixed focus so no more struggles for focusing the right target. The snorkeling white balance preset generated quite accurate colors. And the picture quality is very good. It's easy to mount on a monopod to extend the reach for video. All in all it's an excellent travel underwater camera that can generate good results yet adding minimal load to your luggage. The attached photos are frame grab from the HD videos (about 2MB resolution). It's far from the normal single shot picture quality so this is for reference only.

Got this for my underwater housing camera equipment. This case is very sturdy. Very easy to pinch out the form for the equipment. Definitely recommend.

I needed an underwater housing for my SLR so I could use it on a trip that would include some very basic snorkeling. Admittedly I was a little reluctant to jump in the ocean with my camera in what amounted to a plastic bag, but there was nothing to worry about because the bag worked flawlessly. It was real easy to use, the camera went in and came out quickly. Obviously it was cumbersome to use the controls underwater due to there being a thick plastic bag between fingers and the controls but it beat not having a camera that could be taken underwater. I considered buying a rigid housing that would allow for better control interface underwater but I decided since I am not a professional and since I don't do extensive underwater photography investing that much money seemed foolish. An additional bonus is this case folds up pretty small, so tucking it in my camera bag was easy.

Bought for use with compact underwater camera on snorkeling trip. Strap, although slightly large, was easy to slip on wrist, and stayed in place with no issues. Will keep smaller cameras buoyant, and will help locate larger ones. Simple to operate camera with same hand to which strap was attached.

This camera is lightweight and easy to essemble in underwater case for filming in Bermuda. Excellent color underwater without added lighting.
