Underwater Camera Ice Fishing Youtube

This product was ordered for my friend for ice fishing with his Aqua View underwater camera. He is happy with the purchase and says it was a great buy.

A must have if you're using an under water camera while ice fishing.

I bought this for my B camera for my fishing adventures I document on YouTube. The one on my main camera was so good, I decided to buy one for my second camera. The best thing: It runs on 11 to 52 volt phantom power. I run this to my DR60 mkii TASCAM at 24 volts to save on battery life. It works wonders. If you're an indie filmmaker of any level, this is a good mic for the bag. Are there better mics, yes. If you willing to spend an order of magnitude more cash, you can get a little better sounding mic. For the money, I haven't found anything better for what I do.

I got these for Christmas and had planned mostly to use them out in cottage country where cel reception is spotty. Used them when I was ice fishing and walking the dogs to communicate with my wife back at the cottage. Actual range in dense forest was about 1 mile, but on the lake ice fishing, I had perfect communications and did not reach their range. I even lost one while traversing a rough ice patch (fell and lost it) and found it 3 hours later after getting the other walkie and using the call feature! It survived a 3 hour freeze below a few layers of broken ice and snow at -11°C and still worked beautifully. Very happy with them!

This unit works great for ice fishing. It sits high enough where the motor doesn't get wet in the slush around the ice hole. Seem less ordering process and fast processing/shipping.

Took the Kanteen ice fishing with hot coffee at 6a.m. in my ice tent at -20 degrees F. At 8 a.m hot, at 10 a.m. still hot, at noon steamy hot, at 2p.m. still steamy, and at 4 p.m. last cup warm. Time to go home. Thank you for coming along Kanteen.

I do wet collodion photography and in the past have tried using an ice-fishing tent as my mobile darkroom, but it had no floor and wasn't designed for easy set up and take down. The Ilford Pop-Up darkroom can be set up in under 10 minutes and is truly light tight.

I took shots at dark. The camera saw what I could not. It is going to be quite useful in my underwater adventures.
