This is a great camera for someone not looking for a big bulky DSLR, but likes the versatiliy of interchangeable lenses.

In the old days of film, I had a Canon and interchangeable lenses. I was pretty good, but abandoned photography when film disappeared. Now that I'm retired, I have time and wanted to get back in, but I couldn't remember much about the process. Some friends suggested the Sony, and after researching some, I dove in. It's not been a smooth learning curve. Each person who helps has a different method, but with some Youtube videos, I was able to get some shots, and even figured out how to download to my computer so I can view them. That's when I was impressed. So many pics were actually pretty good. A lot clearer and focused than I thought. I can't get the ultra closeups I want, but this is going to be a fun camera for me. Some of my 'fancy camera' friends are even jealous of this one.

Some knock this camera however it's great . This unit is very light weight and you can use interchangeable micro 4/3 lenses . Tell him that I have is the battery life could be a little better but her it's a compact camera. Take some time read the manual experiment and I think you're fine it's a great little camera Video quality is excellent and the pictures are great As well.

I love this camera -- I traded in my old DSLR because I wanted something smaller and lighter, but that still had the option for interchangeable lenses.

This is a great first lens kit for freelancers who just need a few interchangeable lenses, especially if you just have a camera bag or something to carry on the go. You can fit a few of these with a MFT DSLR, like the Panasonic GH4 I use. Yes, there is a bit of a crop factor because of the nature of a MFT, but if you know about it, you can use it wisely and to your advantage. These four lenses offer a good range if all you are looking for is a nice prime lens kit.

I recently picked up an Olympus Pen e-pl2. The reason being, I broke my collar bone and couldn't carry or lift my normal rig (even trimmed down). And me being without a camera...... well, that's just silly!!! After shooting with nothing but pro equipment the past 11 years (my film stuff not included), I knew that I would expect too much and fully expected to hate it and saw myself returning it within B&H's generous return period. I have to say now, that I'm pleasantly surprised at this camera and will certainly be keeping it. It's affordable and the kit lens is not only sharp but has good color and contrast. Besides being small and having interchangeable lenses (most within a reasonable budget.) it doesn't scream HEY, STEAL ME! when you take it out of a bag or jacket pocket. The 14-42 (28-84mm in a 35mm equivalent) is a perfect 'walk -a-round' lens in decent lighting conditions. It also has some cool built in presets and filters for when you feel like playing around. All-in-all, it is a fun camera with beginner level modes and a lot of good stuff for us old pros too. :-) One of the neat things about these Micro 4/3rds cameras is that the lenses regardless of brand are interchangeable. That being said, there area few lenses that I have my eye on already. Honestly, if you're n the market for a camera with a small form factor and a kit you can add to, I would check it out. There are so many days that I don't want to carry my gear bag but want to get candids of my kids or just some street photography and this fills that need.

Was what I expected from reading other reviews. Used it in an outdoor pool, only went about 5ft under. Not confident to put my primary camera in it, but was comfortable putting my D7100 and 17-55mm F2.8 lens (No hood) in. The plastic lens was not as bad as I had feared. Happy that it can fit 77mm lenses. Back of the case was clear when viewing the camera's rear screen underwater with a scuba mask. The only thing that was tough was trying to zoom the lens. Also zoom lenses that extend tend to elongate while you handle it underwater. Next time will duct tape the zoom ring in place. The D7100 seemed a tiny bit small in it, even with all 3 supplied pads in use at the bottom of the case. Will fit a FX camera like a D810. Accommodates the built-in flash quite well.

I got this lens to shoot underwater video and stills with my Sony A6500 in an Ikelite DL/M200 housing. Sunday morning was my first dive with it. To say that it didn't disappoint would be a gross understatement! This lens is razor sharp, with very fast autofocus. I found that with other lenses on this camera, I had to set the autofocus speed to responsive, which is much faster than Standard. With this lens, I have to dial that back down, as the AF responds a bit too quickly now for my taste! Even with the A6500's 1.5x crop factor, giving this lens the equivalent angle of view as that of a 24mm lens on a full frame camera, this lens's ability to focus at very close distances makes it an excellent lens for underwater work for all but the smallest of subjects. The image I've attached is a saved frame from 4K video I shot Sunday morning. The subject is a curious Sheepshead that came in for a very close up look at my camera! I have several Sigma lenses for Canon: the 24-105 Art and 150-600 Sports, and this very value-priced 16mm prime for the Sony E mount continues that fine tradition of quality glass. Good job, Sigma!

I’ve been using my backpack to bring my camera lenses and bulky underwater housing to and from the beach and it’s been great! I was able to change the inside to properly fit all my equipment, it’s keeping everything protected and ready to shoot!
