I use GoPro for underwater photography and was very curious about the how long the battery would last. I left the camera with monitor on on the Hero 4 Black+ for the entire hour and 10 minutes I snorkeled and recorded some very lengthy swims with a green sea turtle. In total, about 8 gigs at 2.7K. Although the battery was run down to one dot at the end, I still had power and got some great stills and vids. This battery gave me twice the life and shooting time of a GoPro brand battery. Seems secure and reliable and does what it's made to do. There are cheeper ones available from third party suppliers but I prefered to buy Canon so there are no surprises. The canon remote switch from my Rebel series camera was not compatable with my new camera so I had to buy this one. Suggestion for use: fold the cord in half and put both ends through the folded loop around your camera strap prior to attaching to camera for extra security from loss. ... 5 |
