Underwater Koi Camera By Pond Force

I took shots at dark. The camera saw what I could not. It is going to be quite useful in my underwater adventures.

This is a camera battery. My copy does just what I expect it to do: it accepts and holds a charge, and discharges to power my Panasonic G9 camera. What I did NOT expect this battery to do was survive a fall from ~40 feet after it fell out of my bag, bouncing down a rocky slope and landing in a shallow pond. I expected the housing to be broken open and for the battery to be a total loss, but when I made it down to the pond to retrieve it, it only had a couple scrapes and dents to its faces and corners, and after fishing it out of the pond and thoroughly drying it off, I stuck it in my G9 (for science) and discovered that IT STILL WORKED. I will be watching this battery closely to make sure it doesn't malfunction or cause any damage to my camera, but the prognosis is good, I think, and even if it does turn out to have a reduced life span because of this incident, I will gladly buy another to replace it, with confidence in this model's durability.

I live next to a pond in Florida where we see lots of wildlife. This camera is a game changer when capturing beautiful shots to share.

I bought the sx740 for my handicapped son who is recovering from a spinal cord injury. After giving him a few pointers I went with him on his first outing, Having a sx720 I hoped to help him if he got stuck. Well he had an inexpensive $15 tripod so how will he do this? We stopped at a nature center area with a pond and without asking he set up his tripod (having a harder time holding and steadying his camera handheld). The tilt screen really helped. He set the camera on P and center af then set the timer for 2 seconds for each shot. There was a blue heron snap snap snap and then a green heron 75 yards to the right and closer snap snap snap. Using full zoom how were these pictures going to turn out. We then went around to the pond on the other side of the nature center and low and behold a double crested cormorant. He again set up his tripod in seconds snap snap snap. A couple of days later there where 9 total pictures of all the birds we saw perfectly exposed and sharp downloaded with his computer to his favorite nature website. You say you don't believe in miracles.

I bought the Tiffen Polarizing filter to take shots of my Koi without reflections in the water. It works fabulously and without interfering with the quality of the image. The price was great, 50% less than stores in my area. Free shipping sweetened the deal.
