Uni Alpha Gel Slim Mechanical Pencil 0.5 Mm

Excellent macro photography slider. Good for macro subjects up to about 10 CM in depth. Easy to get about 0.5 mm adjustments. Less than 0.5 mm adjustments are problematic. Excillent build. I don't need to use the locking knob unless I am more than about 30 degrees from level. Castel-Q works well with my Acratech tripod head and quick-release plate. This slider is a big improvement over the Velbon Super Mag Slider.

Great lead supply for my mechanical pencil. These are very thick and so far, not a single has broken even when I extend a bit. Very happy with these lead refills.

I use the Manfrotto with my 300 mm f 2.8 Minolta, both of which I love. I use an excellent Sony Alpha 350, and I am waiting for a Sony 900 with movable back screen and a little more frames per second. I like the strong and heavy duty construction so much I know the 600 mm f 4 I am lusting after will work well with the 393. It has a wonderful mounting plate for the lens, which slides right onto the mount, with a spring loaded stop so I don't feel like it will fall off. When I want to take it off, just push the button and slide the whole works off. I like the padded largest U. I would never consider mounting as shown in the picture. The small U should be inside the large U, both upward-facing. My 300 mm f2.8 and camera can be moved with one finger and smoothly, or you could lock it right down and it wouldn't move a bit. Excellent product, I love it.

Smooth operation, and with the slim profile there's no vignettes at my wider angles (24 mm) and very little vignette my when stacked on my UV filter

The UV slim filter is great to protect my 70- 200 mm Canon lens. Easier to replace the filter than the lens if damaged.

By using the 72-82 mm step-up ring, I can use my slim 82mm polarizer on my 24mm TS (tilt/shift) lens (72mm filter threads) and not get vignetting when the lens is shifter to its maximum. I've actually used shift and tilt together without image vignetting. This is a great set-up!
