Uninterruptible Power Supply Airport Lead Acid

I purchased this about 2 weeks ago as a replacement for my uninterruptible power supply on my computer equipment. Less than a week ago we had another power failure that lasted about 3 hours. The EcoFlow River 2 Pro performed better than I had hoped. It transferred power seamlessly and none of my equipment even sensed it had happened. The app made it easy to manage my power usage to insure that the most critical electronics remained available.

I did not start out to want an uninterruptible power supply, but only a very capable surge protector. Once I read about the benefits of an uninterruptible power supply I was convinced I had to have one for my equipment. Initially this unit was on back order and I was sure getting one would be taking a very long time. Thankfully the day came when B&H gave me the email saying my Cyberpower EC850LCD was on it's way. I've had it protecting my computer, Time Machine and external hard drive. So far just this week the unit gave me the time to shut down safely after a short electrical blackout. I know this was a wise purchase and I am grateful to B&H for their commitment to honor my order.

As can be expected with a lead acid battery, weight is higher than with other types, however I believe the performance overwhelmingly outweighs the drawbacks. This battery pack easily powers my camera for around 4 hours, and is significantly less expensive than some other brands. Charging does take a while, but as above, is a small price to pay.

My old lead acid batteries are 4 years old and expect they will start to fail. I bought the delta 2 so I could transition to lithium batteries. So far it has been a very good and simple project. I like that it has it's own charge controller with a few different ways to charge. So far so good. Will probably buy the extra battery eventually.

Lead acid sealed battery, sine wave output, does not require constant attention

I’ve installed this quite easily in my wall rack and have to say I am very happy with it’s performance and solid build quality. It’s as plug and play as you’re going to get. I find myself often looking over to see that it running as it’s very quiet and the fan only turns on when the load get’s to a certain levelEven then I just don’t hear it. Seems to be very efficient with low heat. This unit also has the lithium-ion battery and seems to weigh less than half the weight (just over 30lbs) of my older lead acid battery unit and smaller in overall size. In the long run I feel it’s going to be much more cost effective replacing the lithium-ion battery over time as they’re just getting cheaper and last longer than the older lead acid batteries. From an aesthetics point of view, I feel the unit is nicely designed and appealing. The multi-function LCD is easy to use and view various in-depth metrics. If you’re in the market looking for a smart ups or to replace a older lead acid unit then I highly recommend the APC smart-ups. Good quality brand and dependability.

I Iive completely off-grid, and recently purchased a river 600Pro. I have been living with very large and very heavy lead-acid batteries for several years. This unit has so far been able to out last and out perform multiple different lead-acid and AGM type battery setups and charger/ inverter combinations. As long as you are using energy efficient devices you can run several things for several days. Using 50watts of 120v power(My 55inch tv only pulls 37-40 watts after it's been on for a few minutes, 75 watts on start up), the river pro has lasted 4 days while charging multiple phones, tablets, and a laptop from the usb ports. Of course if your pulling more watts (300+) the life span is drastically reduced

This is the standard lead acid cell to be used in my UPS.It has been in service for approximately two weeks without any problem. The price was reasonable and it was delivered promptly and in good condition.
