Universal Gaming Mic For Any Headphones

These are some really good headphones. I use these primarily for PC gaming with voice chat. Audio in the headphones is very clear and has a good balance of bass & treble. Good mic as well; my buddy who I game with can hear me clearly. The cushions are also pretty comfortable. I’ve gamed several hours at a time while wearing glasses with minimal to no discomfort. The HyperX PC app is very intuitive. It helps control settings like mic monitoring (which I usually turn on) and equalizer and shows an accurate battery percentage. Battery life is crazy long. I been using these approx. a month off the initial charge, gaming around 20-30 hours a week and I still have about 60% charge.

These are amazing wireless headphones that happen to be geared towards gaming. Mic is great and sound quality is perfect for music or gaming. B&H shipped fast!

The only thing I'd wish for was universal mic connection. I use tape and some other nonsense to jigger it to fit, but it works GREAT.

Any forum post you read where they ask about getting rid of clothing rustle so the mic doesn't get rubbed by a shirt or jacket, you're going to see someone mention Bubblebee. And they're right! It's a great product for a very fair price! They're perfect for 99% of applications and a must have for your lavalier kit!

Excellent mic and headphones for the money

I have been using an MXL-001 Universal shockmount for my MXL cube mic. It is a little more compact than the SHM you see here. However replacement bands are not available for the MXL, they do not offer them. They are fabric coated rubber (elastic) and do not last forever. Once they are blown out on the MXL that pricey mount is finished. So I decided to try this one at half the price, and guess what? SHM has some common sense! I also ordered a replacement pair of bands for it! It works the same, a little bigger but I don't care. If you want the MXL-001 forget about it. Just get this one.

This Mic sounds great and hands down in my opinion its the King of all Mic's when your on a budget. Sounds really good with the Universal Audio Solo 610 preamp. Best bang for the buck. Just get it !! You wont regret it.

I do not like the shock mount that came with a recent LDC tube mic I purchased, and most universal shock mounts are cheap junk. This was a bit more than I wanted to spend, but it's worth it. The shock mount is very easy to set up, despite some online reviews to the contrary. The pop filter works very well and I cannot discern any coloration. My one criticism, if any, is that the pop filter is at a fixed distance from the mic and a little farther back than I'd normally place one- it's a fine distance for vocals with volume, but if you're wanting a softer or more intimate sound I would probably use something else that I can bring in closer. Anyway, I'm very happy with the purchase and this is a well-built product that I expect to last.
