This laptop docking station's compatibility is universal and it is compatible with Windows 11, 10, 8.x and 7, macOS 10.14 or later, and ChromeOS 100 or later. Plug and play driver installation via Windows Update; manual driver installation on macOS. Dock does not charge host PC. I have already recommended the Plugable USB 3 Universal Docking Station for Dual Monitor to many of my friends and family and several of them have already purchased and used this docking station to manage their dual monitors quite easily and they all love to use this device.

It supports multiple monitors, and various other peripherals while maintaining a small footprint. Highly recommend it.

The Docking Station comes with both USB 3.0 and USB-C cables for flexible host connectivity cords. This docking station was easy to set up. The quality of it seems to be nice and the docking station looks premium. It seems to be working flawlessly for what I need. I really like that it is light and works nicely with my Chromebook and 2 monitors. The packaging comes with UD-MSTHDC Docking Station, power adapter, USB-C and USB-C cable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the Viewsonic TD2455 24" touch monitor in order to upgrade from an older Viewsonic 22" touch monitor. The additional features provided by the TD2455 were beyond my expectations. I use the monitor with a laptop and a docking station in order to see a bigger display. By using the USB-C connection to the monitor and my laptop, I was able to eliminate the docking station and all the wires it entailed. Specifically, the single USB-C connection provides power to my laptop and controls the video and touch functions of the monitor. The monitor also has two built-in downstream USB-A ports. I use one of these ports to plug in the unifying receiver for my full-size wireless keyboard and mouse. I love the new monitor, its beautiful display, and the less clutter resulting from fewer wires needed. My only disappointment is that the USB-C cable was not included in the box with the monitor. I had to purchase it separately.

This laptop docking station has a lot to offer for people that have laptops with no docking feature option. I have an Ultrabook with only 2 USB ports and no other option like Ethernet and as soon I connected it, just work great and plug and play. Great features like the gigabit ethernet port, USB 3.0 4k DisplayPort, audio port, 1 USB Type-B (for a printer)and lock port. I had no problems and I recommend it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the Plugable USB-C docking station to organize my desk and setup my laptop for hybrid work. I like that I can connect my monitor, keyboard, mouse, and power cables to the docking station and only connect the USB-C cable to my laptop. This allows me to be more flexible and move my computer when working from home. I would recommend this to someone that's looking for a convenient way to connect their laptop without having to disconnect and reconnect all of the peripherals when working in different locations.

Ordered this docking station, came in the next day. It's small, and plugs into the computer/laptop via USB-C Cable, which is nice because it allows me to put my laptop in a more convenient area, and of course takes up less space. Works great too.

The USB3VDOCK4DP laptop docking station with 4K DisplayPort has a lot of features for such a small device! It comes with a gigabit ethernet port, 4k DisplayPort, USB 3.0 Fast-Charge, 2 - USB USB 3.0, audio port, 1 USB Type-B (for a printer) and Kensington lock port. If like me you have an ultra book style laptop or newer macs, everything on the computer is connected through the usb-c ports… great, they are fast and can do tons of stuff, but most of my other stuff isn’t usb-c. Also, even though I have a big desktop, I don’t want to constantly send files or copy them to work more comfortably on it, that’s where I really love this. I really love how docking station works as a 1 plug transformation into a desktop. It has its own power supply, so no need to plug your charger in, it works with my Bluetooth keyboard and mouse, and external drives, all plug and play and all through the single usb-c. I have also set it up to share my desktop monitor… so I’ve just plugged everything in and leave it on my desk at home, so all I need to do is plug the one cable in, and for the monitor, switch it over and laptop becomes desktop. If like me you have to move around a lot with you laptop but much prefer a desktop, this is what you need, I really do love it! It’s nicely made and size wise it fits nicely under my monitor and has loads of connections so it should be perfect for most needs. I highly recommend this!
