Universal Plastic Waist Cell Phone Case
Kwong | 2024-07-19 06:27:53 |
This Cell Phone Mount was bought for my Wife. She watches videos on her cell phone often and I thought this was a better idea than leaning her phone against a bottle of ketchup or loaf of bread. Combining this with a tiny foldable tripod gives her a compact stand for her cell phone and she now uses it almost daily. She seems to like it and it folds up to take very little space. The mount had a slight hangup when I first tried it out but seems to work fine now. The threads in the plastic parts are actually brass inserts that are moulded in place so they will probably hold up a lot longer than plain plastic would. The plastic is well moulded and seems to be pretty good quality. In theory, the mount will stand up without a tripod, but it isn't stable. 5 |

This case is rugged nylon with two loops - on that works well on a belt at your waist, and one that will strap the phone to a backpack or sling camera case. When I wear it on my belt, it often catches on chair arms, car door handles, etc. but in situations where all the cases I've had before would tear the leather straps out of the case, the velcro closures on the loop give just enough to keep the case from tearing. My MotoZ has an otterbox phone case on it, so it is slightly bigger than the naked-phone dimensions. After a couple of days, the nylon relaxed JUST enough to allow the phone to go in and out much more easily. I do like this case. I just need to see how long it will last. Only a week old now, but it is great so far. 5 |

This is a fairly study case. The plastic is a little thin but still protective, I imagine thats where it saves on weight. I would worry less about that when ultimately it's going to be weighed down by much of your equipment... I keep two dslr bodies and about 7 lens in it. It will fit a sigma 150-500mm (which is a fairly large lens). Definitely watch how you remove the the foam as if you only leave one cell they will eventually break apart. I changed my mind mid plucking and resulted in a few lens holes with just one cell layer surrounding a few sides. It's still adequate to protect them, but the thin wall wont hold the shape and stretch with the lens in. On another note, if you never had pluck foam case before (like me) its not cubed to the bottom, it's got a solid bottom and than you pull strips out that go completely through to that layer. (IE. no plucking the height) does include hole for locks. Great case, nice price, and and I like colors. The only thing that i could see being included is clip spots for a strap or tieing it down but i wouldn't see using it that way often. 5 |

My wife needs a more protective case than the Peak Design provides but I wanted to move to PD vent-mount phone holder. By carefully cutting a matching hole in the back of the rubber outer case I was able to attach the “universal” phone mount to a compatible surface. Note: you keep using that word (universal). I do not think it means what you think it means. This retrofit works great and almost looks like it was designed this way! 5 |

I have purchased both the Slimlink phone case for a Samsung S21+ Ultra along with (2) universal mounts (golf cart and bicycle), (4) car mounts [2 charging and 2 non-charging] as we have 4 cars. I have tried many mounts and these are by far and away the best. The locking phone on the universal mounts is very secure. The magnetic mounts for the car are also very secure and with the cable organizing clips it makes for a very neat and tidy installation. Congrats to the designers. 5 |

I've been using a Universal Adapter on a slim case for a while. The adhesion to my case is bulletproof. It's very lightweight, and I love the texture of the fabric. The magnets are ridiculously strong, to the point where I'm frequently mounting my phone to my microwave or my refrigerator while I'm cooking in the kitchen. And it works great with the Out-Front Bike Mount. The only thing I'd say is make sure your case fits tightly on your phone. The secure mount of the Universal Adapter doesn't help you much if your phone slips out of its case! The Peak Design system is so much better than competitors' bike mounts I've used in the past, and I can't wait to get additional accessories to use it with. 5 |
