I use it to take pet photos - need to get their attention away from the camera, so I stand elsewhere with the remote until they are in the right pose. It sure is better than my TV and VCR remotes, they are pretty directional sensitive. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the best universal remote I have used so far. I like the simpleset features. I don’t have to flip through the booklet searching for my devices’ code. Being able to hook up to 8 devices is great. I was able to connect to my roku steaming box, Apple TV box and TV. There were some features it can’t replicate on the original remote, but for the basic functions, this would do. 5 |

The problem was that the DVR I was using for my security cameras, though it was a different brand than my TV, it had the same code as the TV. So, when I changed TV channels, the DVR for the cameras changed the camera screen. The only solution was to purchase a new DVR. Problem solved with the Hikvision AcuSense iDS-7208HUHI-M2/S TurboHD 8-Channel DVR (No HDD). 5 |
