Universal Remote Control Replace Sony Cd Player

Needed to replace an old Sony receiver that I have a CD player and turntable hooked up to. Love Sony products and purchased this receiver. A great plus was the ability to hook up any of our phones and tablets to the receiver via blue tooth or via single plug audio cable

I bought this CD player so can play my CDs , old CDs I have for years, also this is small so I don't need much room. Pro: This CD sound good with Volume control, some music have hi gain, some have very little so this Volume control help a lot to adjust the gain you like. cons: Because this CD player is not built for plug/play in home but to build for something else which are already have the wire harness, so be careful, you have to talk to the Salesman before place order.

It is taking the place of compact CD player.

So far so good. Protects my Sony CD Player and my Sony Trinitron Color TV....Ordered from B&H because I trust them and so far the surge protector has not let me down.

I purchased Denon DCD-600E because I wanted a high quality player without extraneous features that I'll never use (bluetooth, usb port). After a week of playing a variety of music; rock, jazz, r&b, folk, I've concluded that it produces the best sound reproduction of any CD player I've ever encountered (I bought my first CD in the spring of 1986). Instruments and voices sound more distinct and more lifelike than before. It also plays perfectly the CD-Rs that I've burned on my computer. I like the layout of the controls, with the eject button offset below the play, stop, etc. row. My only complaint is a trivial one. In order to change the display mode one must use the remote. It seems to me one more button on the unit, perhaps just to the left of the display, would be appropriate. Personally, I don't use the remote as I almost always play each disc from start to finish. Highly recommended.

This unit works very well and is easy to work with especially using the remote. It is versatile and works with my internet connection, with my CD player and my cassette player---old school I know but works for me. Price is very reasonable especially when concerning all the features it offers. I highly recommend this product.

I did a review a few weeks ago. I had done 15 hours of listening with this new cd player. I decided to stick with it since it had given me slight more clarity than my old DVD player. I have about 60 hours on it now and it has improved as it went along. The sound stage has opened up, the clarity has seemed to improve even more. I am certainly glad I didn't return it. However, please improve the remote. For a thousand dollar CD player , I feel they did skimp out on the remote. I would recommend this player now. Please just know that it will take time for it to give its best performance.

I bought this to replace an old Denon CD player/receiver that I'd had repaired once but that, again, wasn't loading the CDs properly. This one sounds just as good to me, and I do like the fact that it has Bluetooth and an input for the audio from the TV. As previous reviews have mentioned, it's odd that you can only select the mode from the remote and not on the receiver itself, but I haven't found this to be a problem. If it lasts as long as my old one, it'll be excellent bang for the buck.
