Universal Remote For Marantz Receiver

I have used this for a little over two years and the sound quality is the best of any surround receiver or separate I have owned, and I have had a few. I replaced a Marantz AV7005 with this and the 8805 is a huge upgrade. Among others I have had is a Rotel system (they could not keep the amp repaired,) a Harman Kardon receiver (great until a channel went out and drove me to separates,) and an early Marantz receiver with a universal remote control that never lived up to its hype. Set-up with Audessy was easy. I always take the initial settings as a serving suggestion, but I had to do very little adjustment compared to the AV 7005. The MM phono stage works well, but I could not adapt an MC stage to the 8805-it most likely was my outside phono stage. The DAC on the CD input is nearly as good as my external DAC, I really have to listen to hear a difference when I route the CD transport into the 8805. I do not use the streaming features much, but what I have used is impressive. The radio does pick up some remote stations. Overall this is the best Marantz product I have owned since the 70s.

It allows me to either use the remote or the receiver as the switch. I really like it.

I am very happy with my purchase of a Marantz receiver. I bought mine because the other brands were all unavailable and I spent a bit more for this one, but I am really happy that it worked out the way it did. This is a great product, from setup to every day use, I have been totally satisfied with the functionality and ease of use. I have already talked two other friends into buying similar models from Marantz.

I'm really impressed with my CD player. The sound quality is incredible, especially when I pair it with my Marantz Receiver SR6014 and Marantz amp MM7055. These products are truly phenomenal.

My home theater is 10' x 15.6'. It is powered by a Marantz 7015 receiver and resides inside a salamander audio cabinet with my other components. Before I bought the Aircom T8, the temperature on top of the Marantz was as much as 107 deg. After putting the T8 on top of the Marantz in the cabinet, the temp dropped to 87 deg. I have the unit set at 88 deg. with an alarm set at 96 deg. The fan level is set at 2 and is VERY quiet. This is a great unit and I recommend it to anyone with a quality receiver. Nice, compact speakers. They work very well with Marantz 5012 receiver when I watch 4K movies.

I have a home cinema Denon X3700h+Marantz MM8077 that powers 7 Klipsch speakers. I listen to a lot of music in stereo mode. The sound is amazing I love it and I thought it couldn't get any better. Until I got the Marantz pm6007... This little beast is just amazing. I know I compare an AV Receiver with a stereo amplifier but everybody told me "You don't need a stereo Amplifier, the receiver has a pretty good DAC". I'm so glad I didn't listen to them. I played a song to my Denon, and in the middle of the song I switched to the Marantz PM6007. And the sound comes alive. When the Receiver plays the song it's like I put a blanket on the speaker. But when I switch to Marantz - it's like I remove the blanket, the sound becomes more alive, more crystalline, and spatial. I love it and I strongly recommend to anyone who likes clarity in the sound

The speakers were quite impressive. I am using them with my old marantz receiver. The quality sound carries all over the house. A really good purchase.
