Universal Remote For Motorola Cable Box

My new cable box, Motorola DCX3400 did not work because of the location of the IR receiver. I installed the repeater and it works flawlessly, problem solved!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the best universal remote I have used so far. I like the simpleset features. I don’t have to flip through the booklet searching for my devices’ code. Being able to hook up to 8 devices is great. I was able to connect to my roku steaming box, Apple TV box and TV. There were some features it can’t replicate on the original remote, but for the basic functions, this would do.

I bought this a few weeks ago, and used it on a shoot a week later. It worked very well, and seems well built. The Teleprompter software and remote also worked well. I used it with my Motorola Xoom android tablet. No complaints here, and theclient was very happy with its readibility.

I use these primarily as a reliable way to trigger the flash off camera. I use a white box for photographing flowers and other small objects. I was using a cable to trigger the remote flash but that was inconvenient due to the length of the cable and it proved to be occasionally unreliable. The Yongnuo Wireless Triggers work reliably every time. And the added bonus is that I can use the triggers as a remote camera trigger as well. Great for taking family portraits where I am in the portrait!

Family likes Roku. Saves me expense of cable box. Easy to use remote. Allows me to drop my cable company for TV and migrate to YouTubeTV which is better and cheaper. Roku has great user interface.

Pulled it out of the box, comes with a remote, a keychain clip and a wrist strap to hang it off, a camera cable and a receiver. The receiver fit the hotshoe on my 500D/T1i perfectly, almost no play and very secure.It works flawlessly where ever I try it. Inside, outside, in the country, in town, everywhere. You have several shooting options on the remote: Single or bulb, 2 Second Delay and Continuous. Also, it is possible to configure multiple receivers to trigger off a single remote.The receiver runs off a standard CR2 battery, and can also be used to trigger the camera manually if there is no battery in the receiver.The kit is also upgradeable if you change camera systems simply by buying the appropriate cable (Available on B&H for a very reasonable $6.95).I would have liked some way of mounting it that didn't sacrifice the hot shoe, but for this price I can get by without it.I am very impressed with the value for money this kit represents, and I will be recommending it to all of my friends until they tell me to shut up.

I had a Motorola 16 x 4 cable modem and upgraded to the Netgear cm1000 which is 32 x 8 so I'm getting a 25% increase in my current plan in the modem supports 1GB per second on Cox which I plan on switching to. Excellent device

I replaced an outdated Motorola cable modem and noticed an immediate improvement on video streaming. Very easy to setup as well.

This is my second Roku box and I really like the rechargeable remote.

This is great, a reasonably priced, universal soft-box for my flash! Good quality, and simple to use.
