Universal Remote For Tv And Set Top Box

Not for a TV addict - made for hotel rooms, and I still have glitches attaching it to my set top box remote control, but when it gets attached it performs beautifully.

I don’t have to flip through the booklet searching for my devices’ code. Being able to hook up to 8 devices is great. I was able to connect to my roku steaming box, Apple TV box and TV. There were some features it can’t replicate on the original remote, but for the basic functions, this would do.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lost a remote to my tv so tried the universal remote and it worked great on my tv. I don't have anything Elsa at this time to connect to the remote but if I did I would. It was easy to use and follow directions too.

I had been unhappy with my old system for a while and found this option at B & H. For the price I'm happy with it. I like that the rear surround speakers are wired directly to the subwoofer. Other more expensive brands had wireless rear speakers but that would mean batteries or recharging, not a good option in my opinion. I put the subwoofer behind the couch, mounted the speakers on the wall, and all the wires are well hidden. As for the remote, it works well enough, but it's tough to get a universal remote to control it because the remote requires several clicks for some functions. First you have to click to get to the setting you want and then activate it, so even a remote that can perform macros can be tricky to set up. It's not really a problem for me though as I don't change settings much, and I only need access to the power, volume and mute controls, which can easily be controlled with my TV remote or my universal remote because I connected the Vizio to an HDMI input. I tried connecting an Alexa to it, both with bluetooth and directly, but no matter how I set it up, the volume was too low, even with the Alexa set to maximum volume. But all in all this unit works well, and I would recommend it if you're looking for something that's not too expensive and is easy to set up.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband got this TV for us and I have to say it seems amazing even if I don't get it. The box showed up and I had no idea how he was going to be able to get this set up by himself. sure enough, he managed to move the box set up the tv all while I ran a few quick errands. The picture is bright and sharp, I can tell it's better then any TV that we've had before, the colors seem brighter and more vivid. I really see the difference between the tv that was here before. Animated movies almost seemed life like while on TV. Regardless of what we put on it looked great. It was easy to navigate through the new menu and operating system. I didn't need any instructions just a quick short lesson and I was good to go. Once everything we used was loaded on the tv I could easily move from one service to another and even use our tv without a cable box which was great. One thing I dislike is wires everywhere, seems like we have so many things connected to a tv that it can be wires everywhere. but with this one connector box everything stayed in the tv stand and only one wire went up to the tv making the room look clean and neat. The sound was great be it from the TV or working with the sound bar everything just worked which was great not being very tech savy. Overall this is a great TV A+
