Universal Remote Only Controls Tv Volume

The TV is amazing. I have no regrets. The remote is a little crowded on the left hand side with the volume controls. I can live with it though.

I love the streaming stick but I wish the remote had the Roku Remote Pro features (volume controls and rechargeable batteries). This remote should be standard

I had been unhappy with my old system for a while and found this option at B & H. For the price I'm happy with it. I like that the rear surround speakers are wired directly to the subwoofer. Other more expensive brands had wireless rear speakers but that would mean batteries or recharging, not a good option in my opinion. I put the subwoofer behind the couch, mounted the speakers on the wall, and all the wires are well hidden. As for the remote, it works well enough, but it's tough to get a universal remote to control it because the remote requires several clicks for some functions. First you have to click to get to the setting you want and then activate it, so even a remote that can perform macros can be tricky to set up. It's not really a problem for me though as I don't change settings much, and I only need access to the power, volume and mute controls, which can easily be controlled with my TV remote or my universal remote because I connected the Vizio to an HDMI input. I tried connecting an Alexa to it, both with bluetooth and directly, but no matter how I set it up, the volume was too low, even with the Alexa set to maximum volume. But all in all this unit works well, and I would recommend it if you're looking for something that's not too expensive and is easy to set up.

I love it. Clarity on the tv is superb and the remote control really controls the TV without aiming at the TV.

Provides all the connections needed for most setups. I love the remote for the volume controls, it makes it very easy to adjust the settings on the fly. The bass is deep and punchy, perfectly added the extra punch I wanted with my Studio monitors. The only con is the sub does not have auto on/off for power. I fixed this by adding an inline power switch at the surge protector at the Powerstrip plugin so I don't have to go behind it to shut it off.

I think this remote is better than the original that came bundled with my Roku Ultra (which I lost and had to replace). It also controls the volume on my Sony surround receiver. This model doesn't have a headphone jack, which I wasn't using anyway - the Ultra connects to Bluetooth earbuds directly - and using the Roku iPhone app for private listening sounds better anyway. Highly recommend it - can't believe this is on $20!

I bought the new roku so I could have the voice activated remote, and the fact that it controls the volume and power to my tv

Only thing I don't like is it will not power on with direct tv remote. If anyone has figured this out let me no.

Used it for a while now indoors and out, everyone loved it when I used it at a party. Great Base and volume. Only wish the speaker came with a remote control

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lost a remote to my tv so tried the universal remote and it worked great on my tv. I don't have anything Elsa at this time to connect to the remote but if I did I would. It was easy to use and follow directions too.
