Universal Sound Bar Remote App

I needed a universal mount for a sound bar that is not nearly as wide as the TV and with a angled rear. I needed to use spacers along with the keyholes. It worked perfectly with a little extra effort. More than enough hardware included in the kit to accommodate most all uses. Sturdy mount indeed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the size of the sound bar. It provides good sound quality without taking too much space or needing an extensive set up. I put the sound bar in a room dedicated to be a bike gym, and while the room is noisy because the bike trainers and the fan are already very loud, the sound bar was a great addition because it could still cut through all of that. The set up was super easy. Just two cables and the calibration also didn’t take long at all. One thing I didn’t get is the “heart” button in the remote. I don’t know what that does. Another thing that could be better would be a more centralized app for all my JBL products. I had to download a new app for the sound bar and already have a different one for headphones.

This sound bar works great! Setup was slightly confusing with the app, but support helped me out and it’s working now. Very good sound quality, good bass, the eARC works as expected. I would recommend this to someone looking for a good mid-grade sound bar system.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was pretty impressed with the sound right off the bat since the Bar 300 is smaller than other sound bars I've owned before. Bass is pretty solid for not having a subwoofer and dialogue audio was clear when watching movies. Setup / calibration is super straightforward, even without downloading the app. Speaking of which, this is my third JBL app (headphones, portable speakers, and now sound bar). It would be really nice if JBL just consolidated all of these into a single one-stop app for all devices. Other than good sound quality and volume, it's cool that brackets for wall mounting are included, haven't experienced that before. Packaging was also mostly plastic free, which I appreciated. Really happy overall with the sound bar.

Top of the line sound bar compared to New Bose model and others -Voice enhancer option toggles on/off for great dialog clarity (same level as Bose new bar) -phenomenal e300 rear speakers cons: -challenging to setup on WiFi that has security (would be nice if it supported WIFI auto WPS setup button routers-no option). -app is not as good as prior app. Sonos is expediting the focus to correct this. -Hopefully it will be like prev app which was great. -no BT or newer features in latest other brand of sound bars as this is 4 yr old model (looking forward to the new Arc 2 when it is out hopefully in 2025 which should have all the latest features)

The sound bar works perfectly with my Vizio TV. The system settings are integrated into the TV settings menu. Also, you hardly need the sound bar remote because the TV remote controls it nicely.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The sound bar has crystal clear sound with amazingly deep bass from the subwoofer. The package you receive will have the soundbar, subwoofer, mounting brackets (to mount on wall if you choose), cables for a normal hookup, and remote. If you're needing the optical hookup you will need to purchase separately. The subwoofer, is amazing and most of the time we're running at -6 because it is so deep. Although, if you really want to rock you can go to +6 and that's a full on concert in your house along with shaking! Concert like experience or movie theater experience from this!! You can choose surround, standard, or adaptive sound with the sound mode button. Our preference is adaptive for a nice, clear crisp sound. By pressing the tone control button on the remote you get to adjust the tremble and bass to your preferences. With the channel level button on the remote, you can adjust the side, front, and center speakers individually on the sound bar to optimize the sound in the room. My favorite is watching music videos on tv, the sound makes me feel like I'm at the concert. It's unbelievable!! Voice enhanced feature is an option that provides a very clear sound. Night mode is a great feature that turns the bass down and is a more relaxed softer sound. Installation was super easy, subwoofer is already paired to the soundbar. Highest quality device that we've ever used and Samsung is amazing!! We listened to music and watched movies and it felt like we were a new level for sound!

I was looking for a smaller sound bar than most and this one just fit. It is well designed and looks great below my TV. I was able to sync it to my TV remote so can ajust the sound and TV with one clicker.

If you want ATMOS and DTX:X audio this sound bar package packs it with nine speakers, yes 9. A great combination of sound bar speakers, remote subwoofer, and surround sound speakers. One more GREAT point to keep you reading…shop, find it, and be absolutely surprised that you can get this quality at that price point. So as you can tell I’m thrilled with this sound bar and my VIZIO TV. Plug and go. It’s that easy. I have been a fan of large speaker systems that take up a ton of room, wires everywhere because I wanted the sound that I thought you could only get from that setup. More good news. All the sound you’ll want you get with this setup. In addition one remote and a powerful remote at that. If you don’t have a VIZIO TV I read that this remote can learn your TV remote to keep you at 1 remote. Total control with the remote. You control left, center, right, sub, surround, height speaker, effects, equalizer, inputs etc. One really nice element is a remote with a display. Makes it really easy to understand and control your environment. There are some cool things I haven’t done yet. I have used by smart speaker to control things but you can also connect your smart speaker directly to the sound bar. Last the accessory package has everything you might need. HDMI, optical, wall mounts, etc. Ever buy something and then need to order a cable or HDMI cable, or something else. They even provided cable ties to keep your surround sound speaker wire nice and neat. Bottom line, you’ll be thrilled.
