I have used the Amazon Fire Stick, Matricom G-Box Q and Roku 3 for a while. I had been thinking about getting the NVidia Shield TV for a while and finally decided to get it when the new version with Amazon and the smaller footprint was released. I have played with it for about 2 weeks and I have to say that this is the most powerful box I have used as far as Android TV is concerned. I have SlingTV, YouTube, Amazon Video, Plex and Kodi apps that I use most often. I do have a 32GB usb stick connected to save apps and data there since I have the 16GB model. That works but apps do take a little longer to start from the USB. I did install a few games that the kids enjoy playing and they work great. Some games do crash every now and then such as Hungry Shark but not all. The included remote and came controller are easy to use and get used to. This box makes using Android TV enjoyable whereas others promise performance that diminishes quickly over time. I would highly recommend this box to anyone who doesn't mind spending $200 and values performance and quality of cost. This box replaced a Roku, G-Box and Chromecast for me and I don't have to buy a separate gaming console for the kids, at least for a little while.

I don’t have to flip through the booklet searching for my devices’ code. Being able to hook up to 8 devices is great. I was able to connect to my roku steaming box, Apple TV box and TV. There were some features it can’t replicate on the original remote, but for the basic functions, this would do.

We can almost watch everything we want using the apps so it’s almost putting our Apple TV out of business! Only “complaint” I have is the the remote doesn’t control power on/off of our Bose Cinemate sound bar so we have to continue to use a Logitech universal remote. Other than that it’s a great TV!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love the TV, the quality of videos and movies played on it looks amazing and I was glad I decided to purchase it after I kept looking at it and debating. I love the fact that I don't need to change the input if I want to go from normal TV viewing to playing my Playstation 5. As soon as I turn on the console, the TV automatically switches over. The audio is fantastic, bass is subtle but you definitely hear the rumbling almost to the point where you can feel it. It's super easy to play something from my Galaxy phone on the TV as well. There's a wide selection of apps if you happen to use the TV instead of a Roku or Firestick, which I prefer honestly. I have some very niche streaming services I use and was delighted to find them as part of the offerings in the apps category. My only complaint, and it's more likely a user issue, not the TV, is that I can't fine tune the audio. On my old TV I had different sound profiles like "concert" or "games" or "theater". Either I haven't figured out where that is on the TV menu or maybe it is relegated to the only two sound profiles I saw. The last thing is that I love the remote does NOT need batteries!! You charge the remote by ambient light!! Truly one of the best purchases of 2024.

Opening the box was awesome because it was better than our expectation. This TV is big but also thin at the same time. It wasnt difficult to mount and we had to spend hours going through the features. The picture on this TV is crisp and very clear. If you are a sports lover and a gamer, this is the perfect TV for you. The scenes on the TV make sit look like we were in cinema. The best part is that after turning on and setting up the TV(Connect to WiFi & Bluetooth), It was able to connect to my wife's iPhone and pulled up all the apps. The apps that actually came with this TV is alot. We had the option to subscribe to some of the apps though. The good thing is ,it can be connected via WiFi, Bluetooth,HDMI and through your phones. Playing games on this TV makes the Pictures very clear , interesting and fun for the family. Its so cool that we could connect our wireless mouse and keyboard to the Tv while surfing the Web. I love the Alexa and google assistant on it, it makes life easier for me especially with the kids struggling on what they want to watch. I can easily say Alexa change this or hey google i need that. The Feature that crowns it all for me is the LG Magic remote that it came with. What can be better than a Magic remote that allows me control multiple device by just changing it's source, and the remote corresponds immediately. I love this TV and will highly recommend it to everyone.

You can adjust the setting in the brightness as well. It comes with a remote control. The remote control is thin and sleek. It has functions for volume, apps, and home feature. The home button can take you to apps. Yes! This is a smart tv. The smart tv is amazing because it’s all in one. The tv has apps such as Netflix and YouTube which makes it a one stop shop. You can watch shows on different apps without having to exit the tv itself. The sound quality is really nice too. It has volume settings you can adjust for your liking.
