University Of Florida Band Tenor Saxophones

I have personally used the mic over the guitar amp and also to mic saxophones. 5 |

These are easy to use microphones. I use them in university classrooms for voice lift and lecture capture. I had a lot of battery failure a couple of years ago but they have redesigned them and the batteries are more stable and end user replaceable. They have to be held close to your mouth and you have to use the velcro neck band. The neck band is easy to use but can get a bit itchy if you don't line the velcro up. 5 |

The NINA Narrow Instrument Neck Adjustment thingey worked great for my tenor guitar but the mandolin still was not snug enough so I ordered a second set and wrapped them around the first and it fits great now. 5 |

I play tenor sax and wished I saw a review like this. The harmony portion is based on singer and key of c instruments. Just add two flats to music for Bb instruments in my case and diel in new key for all harmony presets including harmony pedal and it will be spot on. People love the effects it produces. I still have to do my part. 5 |

A friend was looking for a mic to use on his tenor sax, so we spent an afternoon trying out a bunch of mics I had around the studio. Surprisingly the 545SD made it all the way through to the final round (along with a few mics youd probably expect). Id say the 545SD in my experience is a bit brighter than the SM-57. Whereas the SM-57 can sometimes sound a bit tubby or honky on some instruments, the 545SDs tone works well when a slightly bright, clean tone is desired. 5 |

Very well built. Very stable and adjustable for different sizes of alto and tenor saxophone. Also adjust the height. 5 |
