University Parking Space Monitoring App Study

I installed this system after some thefts of company property from our company's parking lot. The system was easy to install (discounting having to pull cable through a plenum ceiling space, but I did not want to use WiFi cameras). The remote monitoring apps seem to work pretty well. Will be monitoring the system for any cyber-intrusion. The one improvement I would recommend is to allow for an external keyboard to control the NVR software, particularly for logging in. Currently, you can only use a mouse and the on-screen keyboard. Entering a long secure password to log in takes a while and is ungainly.

I had read a review of these from a study at Cornell University and bought them w/o trying them in a store. No problems whatsoever. They feel great in my hands, very smooth focus, no problems with using them while wearing my glasses. They have greatly exceeded my expectations. Additionally they are a fantastic value.

i am a biology major at university and spend time in the field. My own specialty is the study of birds and thus the need for binoculars. Changing from a neck strap to the suspender harness is a more than welcome change. Nothing negative to report. Really super.

Purchase for my son to study abroad in Europe, he loves it! Great for daily use at University, expands for weekend trips and still complies with European carry on sizes

The Sennheiser HD280 is ideal for monitoring and editing your audio and video recordings and live performances. They have good enough outside noise rejection to be usable in live situations and are extremely critical of the input. Don't confuse these with nice polite hi-fi headphones for enjoyment - they are not. They will give you the unvarnished truth about your audio whether you like it or not. However ... (and this is big one) ... once your audio sounds good on these cans it will sound awesome everywhere else! I highly recommend getting this kit if only for the ear pads. They are a breeze to fit and are way more comfortable (and less sweaty) for extended monitoring than the PU ones that come as standard. The case is a nice add on and has space for the coiled cable (which I could do without to be honest). I like that you can flip an ear piece over so that someone else can listen beside you and also that they fold up to take up (slightly) less space. I initially thought that the headband was a little too tight but after a 10 hour editing session today I've changed my mind and decided that it's actually OK.

The router was easy to set up with the app and there were no glitches. Have noticed an increase in speed with it. The app is great for monitoring. We have not delved into any advanced settings. Not the best looking, but I’ll go with performance first.

This system is easy to install and fine tune with the desktop app. The mobile app makes monitoring a breeze. Speeds and coverage in our home is greatly improved. Very happy with the purchase.

This might sound a bit crazy, but I actually bought this iPad Mini to use pretty much exclusively as a monitor for my Red Komodo. The Komodo Control app is SO good (on iOS, it's absolute garbage on Android unfortunately) and works almost flawlessly with the camera as a monitoring and camera control app. The size and brightness of the screen is just perfect - slightly larger than most popular 7 in. monitors from Atomos or SmallHD, plus, it's cheaper than all of those monitors AND wireless! No need to deal with more annoying SDI or HDMI cables. And lastly, with most camera manufacturers having pretty decent monitoring apps out there, you could also use it as a monitor for a Panasonic, Sony, or Canon camera. Oh yeah, and on top of that, it's also a tablet, so you can use it for web browsing, playing games, and other fun tablet stuff too. Bonus!

It’s simple to maneuver the camera via the app and cool that we can chat via voice as well. Nice peace of mind for home security and pet monitoring.
