I have been collecting Domke bags that are made in ballistic nylon, as it never seems to fade, is easy to clean and sturdy. I have the F3XB in ballistic nylon, the F4 in black ballistic nylon, and kept looking for my favorite bag, the F4 AF Pro bag, to be issued in ballistic nylon. That is my favorite bag, and I've had like five of them. I retire them when they are faded out. I saw this J-3 awhile ago but didn't spring for it. Finally, I recently just pulled the trigger. I put the inserts from my F4 AF Pro bag into the J3. What I like about both of these bags, over the minimal F3XB is the padding. I feel like my gear is protected. Even the pockets on this J3 have padding. I would never slide any speedlight into the side pocket of my other bags, but with the J3's padded side pockets I certainly would. This bag is the form factor I like if you know the F4 AF Pro and the F3X bags. They are easy and do not hinder movement, like throwing it over my shoulder in the car and getting out. The F4 gets caught on the steering wheel, but these less wide bags slide right past. This bag is the form factor I love, in the excellent ballistic nylon. This bag should be called the F4 AF Pro in ballistic nylon. (With extra padded side pockets.)

My first J3 Domke made it about 20 years of daily pro use before it started to crater so I say that good enough reason to purchase another . These bags just seem to expand the more gear you load in . Quality of construction is top notch twenty years later .

I use these Weincell batteries for my antique Gossen Luna-Pro lightmeter, and it works perfectly.

My Samsung often requires reboot... My L3860CDW printer is always there. Only trouble is asking for a password for a firmware upgrade, claiming it is in the back and trust me, it is NOT ANYWHERE...

I’ve been buying air zinc batteries for my Gossen Luna Pro but they die in about three months. I have looked at adapters before but they were either very expensive or required recalibrating the meter. This adapter set dropped right in and works as advertised. It should pay for itself in less than a year. I’m glad Gossen developed this adapter set and B & H got it to me so quickly.

The Gossen Battery Adapter set fits perfectly and now my Luna Pro has gone from a decorative object on my shelf to a once more usable tool. It does not adjust the voltage to match the old mercury cells, so I have to compensate with the film speed setting, but it is fun to have my meter back for those times I want to shoot film with my old gear.

Gossen Luna Pro stayed in a cabinet unused for years because batteries were no longer available. Recently began shooting film again and decided to try this adapter with modern batteries. Adapter arrived promptly, well packaged with fresh batteries. Installed adapter and batteries and meter working as new. First roll of B&W film looks good.

Playing around with an old Gossen Luna pro light meter and these are the batteries it takes. I rather like the light meter, so I'm happy I could find these batteries!

After retirement, my trusty Luna Pro and my Sekonic Spot/Incident/Reflective were accidentally sold along with a lot of equipment that are making a comeback now. Go figure. I'm trying out video filmmaking now and although there are many fine in camera tools like false color to aid with exposure, I found nothing replaces the confidence a good light meter reading adds to the shoot. The L-308 is not as nice as my old meters but is more then enough to check exposure accurately. For the price I highly recommend adding it to your bag.
