We didn't know if our cell service would work in the Grand Canyon (t-mobile - it was spotty) and decided to try the radios when 1/2 the family was on the rim and my daughter and I hiked down to Indian Garden (4.9 miles, 3000 feet). It worked for us when we checked in from the garden and at our other points to give an ETA to meet at the trail head.� We used the hi-power GMRS mode (I have a license that covers our family) and my wife and other daughter were always less than 1/2 mile from the rim at the top. 5 |

My wife and I both have the run pro and we love it. Easy to use. Paired to our cell phones we don’t have to run around looking for our iPhone. And the sound is terrific . I even use it with my hearing aids. 5 |

My family and I have protected phones and iPads for the last 5+ years with Otterbox products. We have not lost a single piece of technology to a drop, fall, water, or other impact in all that time. I teach and take an iPad and phone into a middle school daily. Great protection. My wish is for a way to transport my Apple pencil inside the case. Almost a must have if you venture anywhere cell phone signal doesn't exist. My family appreciates that I can still check in while in the back country. Screen is easily readable, good battery life for such a small device. Decent cell phone apps to assist in communication. 5 |
