Magic Mouse on Windows-7 (Toshiba Satellite Laptop) works great! After searching the web and finding a driver that would work (AppleWirelessMouse645 driver application). I was able to quickly and seemlessly get the Apple magic mouse work on my wifes laptop running Windows-7 64bit. The Bluetooth 2.1 USB Micro Adapter by Iogear, goes great with this mouse. My computer front ports stopped working with a Windows 10 update, and I could not get them to work again. But my rear 3.1 ports were working fine. So I saw this little unit, and bought it at B&H's low price. It's plug and play, and functions perfectly. I plugged it into a rear port, and double-sided taped it to the computer top. It has a power button that once turned on, never has to be used again. Turn the computer off, turn it on again, and the hub powers up with the computer. Perfect, and an easy fix! I can high-speed transfer to my USB sticks again! 5 |

I recently upgraded the OS on an old Windows laptop from Win 7 to Win 8.1. After the update, I found that the SD card reader in the laptop no longer worked. A BIOS and/or driver update was needed, which the manufacturer no longer supported. This SD to USB reader came to the rescue! Transfer speed is excellent. It is also fully compatible with my UHS-I SD cards and USB 3.0 and 2.0 ports. Highly recommended and five stars! 5 |

I already had the VLC media player ap installed on my windows 10 laptop, so when I plugged this into my USB port straight from the box, it was recognized and functioned immediately. If your computer doesn't have a driver, Transcend provides one free, but you must download one in order to use external drives--perhaps that's why some users claim their player wouldn't work? 5 |
