Upgraded 4K Digital Camera

I upgraded from a digital Rebel. I found this camera to be very easy and intuitive to use, much like my film camera use to be.

We upgraded to the Black Magic Pocket Cinema Camera 4k because of our need for a better low-light video camera. The old camera delivered too much grain to the video in even the best of circumstances. The Black Magic camera, though, has dual ISO which allowed us to find the perfect settings to capture crisp and clear hi-res video.

I upgraded from the R6 to the R6ii for a few reasons. Unlimited recording in 4k without overheating is a big one. The sensor in the original R6 has always been a little warm for my taste. The new sensor seems to be more neutral, which I like. And now I have custom video modes accessible at the twist of the mode dial. I can go from 4k 24fps to 4k 60fps to 1080 180fps lightning fast which has been helping with my faster paced shoots. With the R6ii and the R7 I now have an incredible capable kit; 2 camera interview videos, 2 camera bodies for event photography, sensors that match really well. Overall I like it and recommend it.

I upgraded to this camera after owning the Canon 6D Mark II. They are very similar, but this camera has 4K video and a Full-Frame sensor that you can't beat!!! Perfect for professional and everyday use.

I upgraded from the Nikon D7000 and it was worth it. 24 MP vs 16, 4k video, and also wireless control and photo downloads. The only negative is they went down to 1 card from 2. I also wish they integrated a GPS unit in the camera, since my 180 dollar Nikon coolpix has that. Otherwise a great all-round camera that is competitive in features and quality to much more expensive cameras.

Upgraded from the second gen 4k ATV and it is like night and day.

I started with the Digital Rebel a couple of years ago, then upgraded to a 5D, added a 40D body to my collection and then sold them both and bought this amazing Mark III 1D. I take portraits and weddings as a side business. Recently, in my full time job, I was promoted and since the wedding photography takes up time I wanted a camera that would allow me to take sports photography. This is the camera. However, I find the portrait shots I take with this camera are a tad better than the 5D. The only issue I have is I miss the FF of the 5D.

I upgraded from a Digital Rebel XTi ,which i love. i take alot of pictures of my kids in sports so this camera will make itself useful when that time comes. it also on creative mode has live view which is really cool! i have to admit i have alot to learn about this camera but know i am going to use it to its fullest capacity!

Finally upgraded from first generation digital Rebel. This is an incredible step up. Camera has great speed and a ton of features. Have only had it a short time, so still getting to know the features. My brother-in-law has a 5D and 7D, and says the 7D is his work horse. I can see why.

So far, this has been a great lens. I'm using it with my Blackmagic Ursa Mini 4K digital film camera (shooting mostly video) and the results are really good. Very happy. Nice look without the super high pricing that you see with other lens companies. Not sure how they do it - but the images are looking great!
