I regret the upgrades to Sonos 2. I have moved my "old" Sonos items to a Sonos 1 controller and am running the Sonos 2 for the new stuff. For me, this doesn't permit an orderly break and I have a pair of 5s which are sitting, along with a Connect Amp and a couple of Connects. The old Play5s sound too good to be sitting around! All the Sonos pieces continue to amaze me, though, with their simplicity of setup and operation. I listen to Sirius or one of my Pandora stations, I pull up select tunes on Spotify and listen to my CDs (~1,900) on a NAS. Also the PlayBase under our bedroom Sony (which I "group" with a couple of 1s around the house so I can listen to the news when I go to the kitchen to fill my coffee) works great. 5 |
