Upgrading A Laptop

after upgrading my lenovo laptop with crucial ram, now my laptop is much faster.

Not sure why I didn't do this before, but I kept running out of space on my laptop. Upgrading was simple and fast using Samsung's migration tool.. The Samsung SSD I replaced with this worked flawlessly so I hope this one does too.. So far so good!!

Upgrading our RAM has helped so much. No more getting frustrated while waiting around for the laptop to respond. Definitely happy with the RAM.

My 2011 MBP was really slow to start up with the old hard drive and I would never turn it off because it would take minutes to start up and even once I was logged in I had to wait to open any programs. It would be extremely slow to load pages online for several minutes as well. Now it starts right up and I can open programs immediately upon logging in and get full responsiveness. It is so much better and I saved thousands by not upgrading my laptop. It was a great value and I was able to double my original storage space for under $100, which was great because my drive was starting to fill up. If you are thinking about upgrading to an SSD to extend the life of your older MacBook I would highly recommend it and you can save yourself a lot of money by avoiding buying a new laptop. I have had the drive in for almost a year now and the computer has been running great ever since I replaced it.

I swapped out a 750GB HDD on my laptop for this big beautiful beast. After upgrading from Ubuntu 18.04 to 20.04, my total start up time is under 30 seconds. It's blazingly fast—apps open almost instantly. If you're wondering whether to upgrade, don't wonder. Just do it. You'll have no regrets. I know I don't.

The memory was a perfect match for upgrading my laptop memory. Performance of the laptop has improved dramatically. Would recommend a Crucial memory kit as an inexpensive way to give new life to an old laptop.

My work laptop is by no means old but there was a huge difference in the quality of my video calls after upgrading to this webcam. There is no harm in having one of the nicer looking 'feeds' in a group meeting. This model is also much more stout than I would have expected. It rests securely on either of my displays and has a low center of gravity. This makes opening and closing the shutter satisfying as the camera itself doesn't budge at all.

I am upgrading from my M1 Macbook air, which I have had for 3 years and absolutely loved. I have my computer docked 95% of the time, so I have an external monitor/ keyboard/ mouse etc... but when I do have to take my laptop somewhere, the air line is the way to go. I only upgraded because my company was paying for a new laptop, so naturally I bumped up to the M2. I bought it on sale 2 days before the M3 air's were annoucnced, but I have no reservations about keeping the M2. The computer is fast, silent, all day battery, sounds good when using the speakers, and is good for everything I throw at it. Unless you are doing heavy/ constant video editing, the M2 Macbook air is a great computer that will do everything you need it to!

Using this monitor for 2-up document and spreadsheet work. I did not have to fiddle with upgrading video drivers on my laptop. Worked out of the box with minimum of setup.

My older Dell laptop (inspiron 15-7569) came with only 8gb ram; upgrading to 16gb was the best option other than buying a new laptop. So for under $70 I get a performance boost and don't have to shell out $1000 for a new laptop. And I did it myself using instructions found on the Crucial website.
