I own a Gitzo 1542 Traveler which I love for its weight but hate when I have to elevate the column. When I got my Sony 200-600mm lens I notice some not so sharp photos when the column was used so I started researching tripods for something without a center column that would reach the same height of 59 inches and with a weight of less than 3 pounds. This FLM cp30-M5 hybrid was the only one that fit the bill. Everything else weighed 4 pounds or more or didn't reach 59 inches. The quality is top notch, I love the leg mechanism and the rubber footers. I paired it with a Flexshooter Mini and I couldn't be more pleased with a purchase. 5 |

Unlike Anywhere USA, up here in the SanJuan Mountains- which are higher than high- staying upright on anything but level with the wind being anything other than gentle or consistent can be a considerable back country challenge. Most keyboard stands are higher than the KS7350 and one of our keyboards is about 2 inches thicker than the other. Putting a cushion on the bench didn't work as expected so I went looking for a stand that was about 2 inches shorter than the stand we had. The KS7350 at its lowest setting is perfect. My keyboard players are happy so I am happy! Probably a good idea to get one in case you have a similar situation or a keyboard player that might not be very tall. 5 |
