Us Cellular Lost Phone Claim

I got this today and it works great with my cell phone, it even came with a 3.5mm to 3.5 mm cable for cellular use...I was surprised..also do yourself a favor..install the gain jumpers as stated in the directions..it will give you more audio on a noisy day. HTH

I had some serious issues getting this working and turns out it’s best if you turn off your cellular service on your phone while doing the setup. Worked like a charm for me on multiple devices. A new update also improved integration with Apple HomeKit. Very happy with it now.

I have a cellular phone based app that I use for my intercom. So I use these so my camera ops in the field can clamp them to the camera tripods and put the phone right in front of them. They work awesome. Highly recommend and will be buying more.

This microphone has great audio as long as the phone is in airplane mode. If it is not, any communication over the cellular antennas causes the ticking and distortion other reviewers have mentioned. When in airplane mode though, the audio is clean. I prefer to shoot video in airplane mode anyway so my recordings are not bothered by text messages or phone calls. So, this is no big deal for me. I love the mic and the build quality.

I lost an Impact Flash Bracket somewhere on US 421 in Kentucky. I wanted to replace it but it was discontinued,unfortunately. This was the recommended replacement. I reluctantly ordered it because I like the results I get with getting a flash out of the line of the Camera lens. It worked just fine on my very next shoot and I hope I don't leave it on the top of my car again like I did with the impact.

I often use my modem on, a Windows 10 computer, to make phone calls, and need to hear the dial-up sounds - to make sure the call is going through, and there is no busy signal. I tried 2 other modems (Lenovo & Sewell) that didn't produce dial-up sounds. Based on the recommendation of a US Robotics tech support rep., I tried the US Robotics model USR5639. It does make dial-up sounds, and dials very fast.

You pay a bit more for Glyph drives but it's well worth it. Glyph drives are reliable, they are made in the US and Glyph has real phone customer support and a solid warranty including data recovery. Glyph is my new goto now that IMO Sandisk wrecked G-tech.
