Us Cellular Phone Service In Mexico

I had some serious issues getting this working and turns out it’s best if you turn off your cellular service on your phone while doing the setup. Worked like a charm for me on multiple devices. A new update also improved integration with Apple HomeKit. Very happy with it now.

Installed this in my ranch in Mexico to get a clear view of what's going on when we are not there (living in the US). It's something incomprehensible how we can just wake our phone, open the Lorex Cloud app, and view, pan, tilt, zoom, to view a precise 25x optical zoom, IN 4K!!!, from a very very far image CLEARLY. Cannot wait to afford another one to place on another side of my ranch.

I got this today and it works great with my cell phone, it even came with a 3.5mm to 3.5 mm cable for cellular use...I was surprised..also do yourself a favor..install the gain jumpers as stated in the directions..it will give you more audio on a noisy day. HTH

I have a cellular phone based app that I use for my intercom. So I use these so my camera ops in the field can clamp them to the camera tripods and put the phone right in front of them. They work awesome. Highly recommend and will be buying more.

This thing never needs charging with the solar panel, and gets great cellular reception where our phone barely get any. Highly recommended this device

This microphone has great audio as long as the phone is in airplane mode. If it is not, any communication over the cellular antennas causes the ticking and distortion other reviewers have mentioned. When in airplane mode though, the audio is clean. I prefer to shoot video in airplane mode anyway so my recordings are not bothered by text messages or phone calls. So, this is no big deal for me. I love the mic and the build quality.
