Usb 2.0 Hard Drive Docking Station

If you have a lot of loose hard drive but don't want to buy an enclosure for each drive, you need this docking station.

This docking station was easy to set up. The quality of it seems to be nice and the docking station looks premium. It seems to be working flawlessly for what I need. I really like that it is light and works nicely with my Chromebook and 2 monitors. The packaging comes with UD-MSTHDC Docking Station, power adapter, USB-C and USB-C cable.

This hard drive docking station is terific in a lab environment or anywhere you need to format or image a large volume of drives. It supports both 2.5 inch and 3.5 inch drives over USB 3.0 so speed is not an issue. When connecting the smaller 2.5 inch drives a plastic shield pops up to protect the internals from dust, etc. If I had to change one thing about this docking station it would be to have a similar protection shield when no drives are in use but this is only a minor annoyance. PC or laptop will not boot due to faulty hardware? No problem - your data will not be lost. The 2.5/3.5" drive docking station connects to your PC / laptop and loads the hard drive as another drive so you access your coveted data! Connecting by usb or esata the transfer speeds do not disappoint. If there was a way to have the docking station powered over a usb cable without needing the power adapter that would be the only change I would make to this device. I received this product in exchange for an unbiased review.

I put my stuff on the hard drive, and it's still there. Transferred pretty fast, but I only have USB 2.0 ports on my computer. Good drive, as long as it doesn't break. Seems solid though

I had an old 3.5 WD external hard drive that only had a USB 2.0 connector. I bought the Sabrent enclosure so I could use USB 3.0 instead. Once I removed the hard drive it was easy to install it in this new enclosure. You need to pay attention to the instructions and angle the drive to properly seat it into the SATA connector. I haven't tried removing it, but I don't need to. This enclosure uses a power plug. It's not bus powered. I do like that there's an on/off switch. Overall, what else can I say? It's a simple solution that works. I'll definitely be buying more of these.

Works as advertised. Fairly fast even with USB 2.0 I really like the finish on it. It's still just a hard drive but at least its nice to look at. I use this as my backup drive for Time Machine on my Mac Book Pro.

Have used this hard drive just a couple times to back up two (USB 2.0) family laptops. So far, so good. The drive is amazingly compact, USB powered, extremely quiet and cool-running. USB 3.0 capability will come in handy when I replace daughter's machine in the near future. If the drive proves reliable, I'm a happy camper.

I ripped an old 1TB hard drive out of an old USB 2.0 enclosure. It was easy to install it into this enclosure. It used small phillips screws. Having a set of small screwdrivers made it a simple installation.
