This device turns any 3.5mm stereo into a Bluetooth source. Pairing this device with my Pixel Buds was painless. I bought two on these, one paired to my Buds, one paired to my wife's Buds. 5 |

I bought this about a month ago to replace a 34 year old (!) Sony Stereo receiver. The old one had AM-FM receiver capability. This one only has FM Receiver built-in, but it sounds a lot cleaner than the older model. This one has fewer output jacks than my older one, but is more than adequate for my setup (Sony Stereo Cassette Deck - going on 20 years now also !), and a bluetooth Audio-Technica Record Player. This model also contains the regular size headphone jack AND a standard audio output jack on the front for older style cassette players, walkman's, etc. Very unusual feature but useful for me as I still use some of that older gear from time to time. I primarily bought and use this product for its bluetooth capability which works excellently. I have my phone, and computer able to play music to it through bluetooth. I realize bluetooth specs don't carry the full frequency range for a lot of audio musical pieces (such as classical music), but for the everyday average pop music it's just fine. This is a great entry level unit for a person who is not an audio-phile. I also bought this because of Sony durability in its products. This thing is built like a brick. Good design accents, solid metal frame, heavy duty components. I will always buy Sony products - good balance between cost, design, and functionality. Couldn't be happier with this product. 5 |

I was looking for a Bluetooth device to play music from my Ipod and Ipad to my older Denon receiver. After looking at the reviews, I picked this one even though it was pricey than others I have looked at. When it arrived, it was well packaged, came with a usb power supply , usb cable, gold plated audio cables and a cloth bag to store the unit. Even though it has a optical digital output, No optical cable was included. I had this for about 3 months now and I can say that I'm really impressed with it and wouldn't hesitate to buy any of their products. I would recommend this to anybody looking for a high quality Bluetooth receiver. 5 |

This receiver has revitalized my 1980s stereo system by allowing Bluetooth transfer from my Sony Walkman (CD quality) and from an iPhone. When powered the receiver goes into pairing mode--your device remembers this receiver...you are connected. So far there has been no problem with connection or distance from the receiver. As this is my second unit (first attached to another stereo system) I only wish I could rename the unit as it comes up with the same name...only to be identified by the Bluetooth address. If you only have one of these, this will not be an issue. Attachment is simple: connect using RCA supplied cord to your receiver aux input. Having it on a switched plug on the receiver is very convenient. If not, you would have to push the light button to switch it into on mode. It has an auto off after a few minutes of not receiving a signal. It also has an optical connection. 5 |

I bought this B1 Bluetooth Music Receiver for my Audioengine A5+ speakers. Streaming music from my iPhone 6 works seamlessly, was simple to set up, and streams in high quality. I am very happy with this device. It is worth the extra money for sure. 5 |

This does more than merely adapting from 3.5mm to XLR. For most PA uses, where one needs to run output from an iPad or other portable device into a mixer, it should be mono and balanced. A splitter adapter cable that goes from XLR to stereo 3.5mm male is ONLY suitable for converting from XLR to dual channel mono out via 3.5mm. The process doesn't work in reverse unless you use a transformer like this that specifically sums the two stereo channels to create a proper mono mix (not just one stereo channel, which may be missing important parts of the mix that are in the other channel). This works perfectly, and I use it several times per year. 5 |
