I have a 2020 MacBook Pro that only has USB-C ports, like most newer Apple Laptops. I also have two older Fujifilm X-T2 digital cameras that use a USB port matching the weird USB 3.2 connector that is on one end of this cable. When the X-T2 came out, the USB 3.2 G2 connector was the supposed new standard replacing the old USB 2.0 connector. Problem is that USB-C arrived less than a year and USB 3.2 was quickly discontinues. It took me a long time to find this cable and I had to keep removing my SD cards and plug them into an SD card reader to download my images. I have a 2016 MacBook Pro. With the 1 USB-C cable provided with the monitor, I'm able to send the video and audio signal to the monitor, use the monitor's USB hub, and charge my MacBook, all through the 1 cable. I selected the preset "text mode" on the monitor, since I'm a software engineer that looks at text all day. It's very crisp and easy on the eyes. I have it vesa mounted to my desk. So far, I've had no issues with this monitor. I'm very impressed!

I use this cable with a Macbook Pro laptop and a Sony A7iv, which has a full size USB-C port. It works well, using the Imaging Edge software. I would get the 15' size (vs 10') - the extra 5' don't get in the way and give you some safety margin. I like the bright orange color that helps me to avoid tripping over it.

This is a superb TB4 dock at a reasonable price. I needed it for WFH setup to drive 2 external displays for a Macbook Pro 16 (M1 Pro) and wanted the convenience of a single cable connector and a lot of expansion slots. I use 2 USB-C to Displayport cables to drive 2 Dell QHD displays. I'm very satisfied with the performance of this dock, but will upgrade to 4K at some point which this will also support. I still have a spare TB4 port on the dock to which I will connect a TB3 or 4 SSD in the future. The dock also charges the MBP 16 efficiently with its 96W and the included TB4 cable. The other USB ports come in handy for some older devices and low voltage charging. I haven't tried the SD slot or headphone ports so far. The ethernet port functions well - no issues. If there's one fault I had to point to, it's the lack of a power button. Would be nice to have when undocking, but this is a minor issue. Also wish the host port would have been located on the rear or a side. Overall, this is an excellent performing dock. It looks great and feels fairly robust. Lastly, the shipping to Canada was fast and included options to have taxes/duties paid up front - very convenient! I recommend this dock to any Macbook user looking to expand video and other connectivity via Thunderbolt.
