Usb C Game Controller Ipad Pro

I purchased this along with my Ipad pro. Definitely a game changer!

. . . To transfer files by a usb stick from my Windows PC to my new iPad Pro.

Needed to plug in a keyboard controller to my MacBook Pro. USB C and USB B are electrically compatible. Why are there not more of these cables? I went to a big box store and a local geek store in the college part of town. At both places the 20 something kids didn't even know what USB B was! I'd think there would be a ton of people plugging USB printers etc into USB C computers. Guess it's just me. Well B&H had this cable. It works perfectly. More robust than I expected as well. I thought it was going to be a much dinkier cable honestly. Would buy again. Might in fact, just to have a backup in case.

Has been a game changer for how I work on the iPad

This is everything you want in a USB-C card reader. I use it with my iPad Pro (2020). I have it specifically because of the CompactFlash slot, and it uploads Canon RAW files to LightRoom for editing extremely fast.

Assuming you already owns 12.9” iPad Pro, this additional investment is worth it!

If you're not using an iPad Pro with a USB-C port, but are using other iDevices, then this iXpand is the best way to store and exchange or download data to or from your MacBook laptop or Mac desktop. It works just as well, if not faster, as the previous generations with type A USB connectors.

I have had an iPad Pro for a few years now. With the port for a USB-C plug it has been very nice to have one of these thumb drives so I can take things off my computer and put them on my iPad. No problem. Now. I have an iPhone 15 with a USB-C plug. I needed to buy another one so I can do the same with that. I’m a photographer and I need to show my work to my clients. Sometimes, I just have my phone, so it’s great to have this thumb drive in my pocket so I can show their pictures on my phone if need be. It’s small, compact, and works great. 1 TB is more than enough storage to carry around in your pocket.

The port on this adapter is not blue but it is USB 3. It transfers files effortlessly from a SSD to my iPad Pro.
