Usb C Headphone

Mic, Pre-Amp, and Headphone Amp in an all-in-one package! Nice to be able to use a USB mic without the need for a separate pre-amp. Really like the headphone jack incorporated into the unit with separate gain controls for the headphone volume.

A very functional USB-C headphone adapter. Works well. My 6th or so adapter.

I'm very satisfied with the APC RBC#33 battery pack purchased from B&H. I had previously tried a less-powerful aftermarket Duracell unit from Batteries+Bulbs but ended up returning it after I found the actual OEM part for $20 cheaper at B&H AND the option to add a SquareTrade 3-year warranty for $9.99. Unlike the cheaper USB mics, this has a large diaphragm and a headphone output. You can dial in several specific settings for different applications and connect it to an iphone or computer.

This thing is microscopic. I bought another USB-C dongle with separate mic and headphone jacks. It is bulkier and definitely has limited frequency response though the headphone jack. This, on the other hand, is as small as it could possibly be, and produces flawless audio with no hiss. That's impressive, given that this obviously isn't an exotic digital-to-analog chip set, and the device is so inexpensive.

Headphone output works fine into my mackie mixer. Don’t use the usb output. I don’t have a computer. Wish the mic could mount onto a standard mic stand.

I was searching for a solution to digitize a large collection of audio cassette tapes. When I was at a local hi fi provider, he suggested eBay as none were being made. After seeing some questionable solutions, I came to B&H and found a couple of potential solutions. This was east to set up and transfer audio tapes. I used Adobe Audition to capture the audio. A USB cable allows for the audio transfer (remember - the connection to the tape deck is different than the USB connector to the PC (Mac Book Pro in my case). I monitored the audio with a headphone plugged into the front mounted headphone jack.
