Usb Computer Keyboard With Hud Display

This IOGEAR GCS110-4 4-Port KVMP switch is my first purcahse of this type of gear...should have bought one years ago. I had checked out one of the other brands, but the manufacturer's web-site had the same photo and description for two models, very confusing. I am using this switch with three computer, Win7, Win8.1 and a Linux rig. I keep the fourth port open for testing other computers, no need to connect one being tested to a separate keyboard and mouse setup. This switch allows me to easily switch between computers via keyboard shortcuts. I have a Logitech Keyboard and Mouse which share a single wireless USB dongle, plugging the dongle into the keyboard USB port of the monitor area of the switch allows me to use the keyboard and mouse on all computers. I did have to uninstall the Logitech software which allowed for custom keyboard layout (volume up/down, next track, etc.) as it seemed to conflict with the way the KVMP switch emulated Keyboard and Mouse Control...not an issue for me in this case. I am not a hard-core gamer, thus do not have a mouse with 92 buttons on it..more of a FPS and Flight Sim guy here. I like the fact that I can switch the keyboard/mouse, Vidoe and USB separately from the audio, that is I can have music playing on one computer, switch the Keyboard/Mouse, Video, and USB to another computer and still hear the music from the first computer. I have all my external drives and printers connected directly to the Win7 computer working as a server for all my data. I have a USB hub connected to the KVMP input which is accessed by whichever computer I am using for such things as my web-cam, joystick, multimedia card reader, and ID CAC Card Reader. I started taking IT classes and now I can easily do remote access, learned how to access Windows Shared Folders from the Linux box...and more, having the computers side by side with one control system is a Godsend. I would recommend this switch to anyone considering such a purchase.

Very happy with this hub. You can never have too many USB ports and I love that this adds 2 USB-C AND 2 USB-A ports to my computer set-up. I haven't done extensive transfer tests, but its transfer speeds are more than fast enough for my needs. The specs say up to 5Gb/s. and I have no reason to doubt that speed. This hub is also plug and play. My computers see it as soon as it's plugged in. The USB-C cable is integrated, meaning you won't misplace it and it is always there when you need it. I personally prefer that. This hub is also a good size, plenty small enough to use with a laptop and for it to be portable. It has a built in LED display letting you know that the computer sees it. I appreciate that feature. I've had other hubs without a display light and that was annoying. The build quality is also good, especially at this great price point. It is made of plastic, but a quality plastic. It feels sturdy and well-made in my opinion. I've had zero issues with this hub. I grabbed this with my new MacBook w/retina display so I could fit my iTunes on the computer. It's plenty fast with the USB 3.0 and it make no noise. Also since it comes prepped for MAc it carries none of the space wasting extra software of a PC portable drive.

This is very similar in capabilities to DK30ADD except it is USB-C connected as opposed to USB 3.0. This product again is part of my my essential computer tools and is used daily. It will work on any computer with a USB-C port. It is well made. It comes with power adapters (EU and NA) , a USB-C cable to connect to your computer, and manual. It has Display Link drivers available for Windows and Mac (work in High Sierra). All work well. I have not tested any 4K display devices so can not comment on this or work ability of this but it does provide crisp clean video on lower resolution monitors. This docking station provides all the essentials of USB ports (3 on back, 1 on front), an SD Card slot on the one end, headphone jack and power switch on the front as well as HDMI, Display Link , gig Ethernet on the back along with the 3 USB ports. There is a large power brick for this device so it might not be a light travelling companion. Well made and truly functional docking station and I, for one, will not part with it. This has been tested primarily on a MAC (under High Sierra (not 10.3.4 but higher)) but has also been tested on Windows 10. Note: I received this product in exchange for an unbiased review.

I bought it because i wanted a keyboard and mouse where i can connect to the computer without use any usb drive, and with their bluetooth capabilities this is possible.

I use this keyboard on my desktop computer and I have to write that it undoubtedly has to be the best performing keyboard around. The great thing about it is that it requires no batteries, its corded (USB), so there is no lag time between the computer and the keyboard as battery performance winds down. The keys are quiet while typing and easy on the touch (short key stroke). Of course being from Logitech, the software is an easy download from Logitech and the keyboard is fully programable. Another great thing is that it is low profile and sturdy, it has some weight to it but not bulk, so it stays put on the desk while typing and of course, it is illuminated and has variable illumination at the touch of a button. Multimedia? Of course, more than I would ever require but it is there for the web surfer if needed. Probably the best feature of all in my opinion is that it is a USB keyboard, meaning no batteries to buy and personally I have never been fond of wireless from the beginning but somethings leave you no choice but then again, Logitech does. If there is anything about this keyboard that I don't like, I have not found it as of yet and I have two of them, one I have been using well over a year now and another thing is that there are no character decals on the keys, so no E's or T's falling or rubbing off after a months use or so. So, if you are not into wireless, purchase this keyboard from B & H, you'll love it.

For general use, this computer is fast, compact and well made. Recommend using with a wired keyboard with extra USB receptacles for the mouse. This will allow the 2d USB on the computer to be used for a web cam.

Make sure to actually use the usb output that matches the computer your are testing your mouse+keyboard with. I had the keyboard+mouse not working like some mentioned in other comments/reviews. I contacted the support team which helped me make it work correctly. It's silly but we never know what would have with lack of coffee :) .
