Usb Flash Drive Appears Then Disappears

Update can be done without old CPU with USB flash drive only.

We are using a flash drive to store and playback videos on a portable projector. I tried with a USB 3.0 Flash Drive, thinking the newer version was better. But the projector had a different idea. I learned from the professionals at B+H that this unit requires an older USB 2.0 Flash Drive. I never would have thought of that but sure enough, when I used this Verbatim 64G Ergo USB 2.0, the projector recognized the videos and played them flawlessly.

This little drive is fast and reliable; it also is USB Type C which is the way it appears most PC manufacturers are going these days.

I use to move files from one laptop to another and you just plug in the USB and the drive appears and that's all. And the rubber case and the fact that its shock proof makes it that much better. I purchased two there great.

I really like the USB as it does not seem cheaply built. It appears to be very sturdy. I had to reformat it to work with Time Machine for my macbook air, but I would've had to do that for almost any other USB that I buy. After reformatting, the USB was still quite fast and was noticeably faster than my 1TB External hard drive that I also got at around the same price. I chose this because my macbook is only 128GB and I like to keep separate drives for every computer I backup. I decided to use a drive that is both fast and 128GB. I've been backing up my macbook for weeks and it has not failed me yet. It's a great product overall, and if I ever needed to transfer a few large files I would probably buy another one.

A very nice compact flash drive. Appears to be ruggedly built. Cover extends over the port, but does not completely seal it off. Cover slides back on the body so there isn't something to lose.

I bought this Flash Drive as a traveling backup for my photos. Typically, I take between 100Gb and 200Gb of photos on a trip so this gives me plenty of space. The small size is ideal as is the light weight. I connected it to my MacbookPro USB-C using a Uni 4 port USB-A to USB-C hub with no problems.I ran a quick test when I received the drive and it took 2 minutes to transfer just over 15Gb (212 files) from my MacbookPro to the drive. So it's pretty fast. It took just two days to get here (Arizona) from B&H and was cheaper than buying from Amazon. So I'm a happy camper.
