Usb Headphones With No Mic

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this microphone for my husband who is a gamer and also works from home. He does lots of video calls and I thought this would be a nice alternative to always having to wear a headset. He has been very pleased with this mic. Some pros and cons.. Pros: -No driver downloads or installation needed. -No firmware updates needed. -Very easy to use. Plug in the USB cable and you're done! -Controls on the mic. -Audio output on the mic. -Very good build and sound quality. Runs at 96KHz. -No hissing or popping. -Universal mounting screw holes. -10 ft USB cord included. Cons: Using the included stand, it picks up vibrations from your desk from phones and other devices. Placing the mic on a surface free of vibration or on an arm would be recommended. -Even in cardioid mode it still picks up sounds like mouse clicks that may be coming from behind the mic. The addition of an isolation shield and software noise gate to remove unwanted sounds would also be recommended. Pairing with RTX Broadcast works beautifully for constant noises such as air conditioners, music, traffic sounds, etc. The sound quality of this mic is excellent and at a great value. Highly recommend!

Works great for ethernet, a USB-C lapel mic, and a webcam. I wish it had an audio port for headphones, but I guess it doesn't need to have everything for it's price. The build quality is a lot higher than I expected, very sturdy. The USB-C male cable (to connect to computer) is a bit short, but that likely improve durability.

I bought my AT2020 to replace a desktop Logitech usb microphone. No matter how much I tried previously I just could not get rid of the hollow sound on all recordings I made to show clients how to use online applications we have built for them. Without changing anything else other than the mic I am now getting incredibly good audio, which my clients have also comment upon. If I had to be picky to find any kind of fault I would suggest the mic stand would be a little more adjustable in order to raise its height on the desk.

Although I had no experience vlogging, I was able to add a video stream and mic to zoom in minutes. I simply plugged-in my camera to the HDM (rear)I in, mic to the XLR in (on top), connected the USB out to my computer laptop with Zoom installed. Zoom automatically detected the video and mic and after selecting those inputs, I was live! Frankly I was amazed how simple it was. No power module required since the UVC-02 is powered by the USB. No software required to operate although a free app is available. There is also a surprising amount of features that have just begun to need/use yet. I highly recommend, at least as an inexpensive backup.

It's a USB 3 cable. It's well made, the cost is reasonable, and it works. No need to say more.
