This IOGEAR GCS110-4 4-Port KVMP switch is my first purcahse of this type of gear...should have bought one years ago. I had checked out one of the other brands, but the manufacturer's web-site had the same photo and description for two models, very confusing. I am using this switch with three computer, Win7, Win8.1 and a Linux rig. I keep the fourth port open for testing other computers, no need to connect one being tested to a separate keyboard and mouse setup. This switch allows me to easily switch between computers via keyboard shortcuts. I have a Logitech Keyboard and Mouse which share a single wireless USB dongle, plugging the dongle into the keyboard USB port of the monitor area of the switch allows me to use the keyboard and mouse on all computers. I did have to uninstall the Logitech software which allowed for custom keyboard layout (volume up/down, next track, etc.) as it seemed to conflict with the way the KVMP switch emulated Keyboard and Mouse Control...not an issue for me in this case. I am not a hard-core gamer, thus do not have a mouse with 92 buttons on it..more of a FPS and Flight Sim guy here. I like the fact that I can switch the keyboard/mouse, Vidoe and USB separately from the audio, that is I can have music playing on one computer, switch the Keyboard/Mouse, Video, and USB to another computer and still hear the music from the first computer. I have all my external drives and printers connected directly to the Win7 computer working as a server for all my data. I have a USB hub connected to the KVMP input which is accessed by whichever computer I am using for such things as my web-cam, joystick, multimedia card reader, and ID CAC Card Reader. I started taking IT classes and now I can easily do remote access, learned how to access Windows Shared Folders from the Linux box...and more, having the computers side by side with one control system is a Godsend. I would recommend this switch to anyone considering such a purchase. 5 |

I was looking for a wireless keyboard and found this, having the usb work as a wireless receiver for the mouse and keyboard its super convenient. 5 |

Works will with my computer and because the mouse and keyboard use the same USB port it frees up space for other uses 5 |

Very easy to build in and upgrade. Had enough ports for a mouse, keyboard with usb passthrough, audio interface, ethernet, mousepad, and additional decretive usb hub. 5 |

Reached my frustration level with my Linkskey KVM. Never remembered I had two monitors connected unless a precise power up sequence was followed and even then, it sometimes took two tries. Cables were supplied with this IOgear switch, but I just moved the ones over from the Linkskey and never looked back. Works flawlessly. Stores the technical data from your monitor, so it remembers how to display multiple monitors from multiple computers. If you have other than standard keyboard/mouse, you may have to go into setup to configure. The switch also lets you just switch the monitor/keyboard/mouse and leave the speakers and USB devices where they were useful if running a USB backup or listening to music and just want to KVM to another computer. This appears to be a rebranded ATEN product. More amazing was B&H price. Significantly lower than anyone else. Was a non-stock item, so it took longer to arrive, but did not matter to me. 5 |

This is an inexpensive, simple yet elegant solution to connecting two PCs to a single monitor, keyboard, and mouse. And by combining the keyboard and mouse cables into one USB connection, you gain a USB connection on your PCs. Just a push of the button and you switch from one to the other. It's that simple. One PC is Windows XP, the other is Windows 7. The first time connecting I needed to unplug and replug the keyboard and mouse to get the PC to see them, but only the first time. Now I just push the button. Simple yet elegant. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use three of these for 8-15hr/day to connect mouse/keyboard/usb sound card to my MacBook Pro 5 |

This keyboard mouse combo is a no frills, basic package. It’s exactly what you’d expect. The USB cable is just long enough on each piece to reach under the desk, and the keyboard has the little feet to prop it up at an angle. 5 |

The keyboard and mouse have worked flawlessly from the start. The single receiver for both devices is plugged into a USB port in the back of the desktop. The computer is in an enclosed compartment in a desk and there are no communication problems. Best of all, no wires. 5 |
