This is a truly useful item for setting up powered speakers on the road. Usually I place the powered speakers close to an outlet in the corner of the stage and/or hall. This 6' length is perfect for such a setting. In addition I use Alto wireless receivers to cut down on XLR cables - this multiple outlet allows me to power the speaker, the wireless receiver and a DJ light all at the same time. What's really cool is - when the speaker, or light or receiver is on, an LED indicator light lets you know something is turned on. When everything is turned off, the LED light goes off too. So I know when I've forgotten to turn of the speaker at the end of the night. This outlet is built tough and can take the abuse of the road - I highly recommend them for powered speakers!

I am using these as computer speakers because I wanted powered speakers so I didn't have to purchase an amp/receiver. Most computer speakers have pretty sorry sound quality. These have great sound quality and I use them for music, games, and video conferencing. I got an Maudio hub to connect them easily.

I replaced my passive Logitech computer speakers with a pair of the Audioengine A2+ speakers and a small 6.5 powered subwoofer. This is a great combination for listening to streaming videos and music in my small office. I use the USB input for the signal from my computer and the RCA outputs to send a signal to the powered subwoofer (Acoustic Audio PSW-6 purchased separately). Shown in the pictures on the Audioengine DS1 stands. The only con is the volume knob is on the back. I would purchase them again.

I use this amp to power headphones connected to an airplay device. I use the optical connection for ultimate quality. At fist I was concerned if it could adequately drive my 300 ohm Sennheizer HD600 headphones because it is just USB powered. But when I got it, It became clear that I had nothing to worry about! Using IEM receivers at remote battery powered speakers. Using old USB cable, i was able to cut the cable and wire it to this and now I can obtain power for my sennheiser ew receivers to run off my speakers battery. The DC2 accepts a range of voltage and converts it to 3V and this simply works flawlessly! This is wonderful and if I want to switch to AA's or rechargeable I can easily swap this out for those. thanks sennheiser

I have had 7-Port Powered USB Hub for about 2 weeks now and it is doing everything that I needed. I didn't know there was a 10 port or I would have gotten that. I may need a second one for another computer so I will get the 10 port then. It is well made and works just fine. If you need it get this one or the 10 port.
