As an Amateur Radio operator I needed an interface device to connect my serial devices to the computer. There are many USB/Serial adpators on the market. The Keyspan USB/Serial adpator has proven time & again to be the hands down favorite due to its reliability, quality and performance. You will not regret this purchase, especially if your looking to interface your serial devices to the computer. 5 |

I was looking for USB to serial adapter which will work under the Windows 7 and this adapter does exactly that. Even better - Windows 7 already has built-in driver for this adapter! 5 |

I bought many USB to Serial. I know this is a bit expensive. But by far the best USB to Serial. A must buy for latest laptops which don't have serial port. 5 |

I bought this USB to Serial adapter because I had some equipment that wasn't working with the adapter that I owned previously. This adapter was very easy to set up and everything worked flawlessly and automatically. I have now tried it with all my serial devices and it works with them all. Thank you for a great product 5 |

My company uses various serial devices, and most computers don't have serial ports anymore. Some USB/serial devices don't allow all software to communicate, even though they appear to be set up correctly. This device works perfectly every time, and even remembers what COM port number it was when it gets unplugged and plugged into a different USB port. 5 |

Used to interface a serial port multiplexer w/ a new USB only computer. It was plug and play after adjusting baud rate. 5 |

This is probably as good as protection gets for a 2-1/2 inch USB drive. It is a cloth (nylon?) covered plastic case with a zipper on three edges. Apparently it was originally designed to take two parallel USB drives - at least it will accept them. That means it is longer than needed for modern serial drives, so just a little bulky. It will also hold two thin serial drives, but only one WD 2TB drive. With the single drive there is room for the cable and maybe some tissue. If you are good at folding the cable, it is possible to squeeeeze it in at he end of the drive, leaving more space for other things. 5 |

i have had usb to serial adapters over the years and operating systems. i needed to run a virtual machine to keep my previous one running (no updates available since release). This one auto detected, installed automatically, and has run flawlessly. I should have done it sooner! 5 |

I've been using this USB to serial adaptor for close to 5 years, and I've used others as well, and they're supposed to be compatible.... Don't hold your breath! This is the one that will work with almost any OS and/or software! I am a 35 year alarm technician and also work with other tech as well. Save your time this is the one for you! In my field, we still are way behind the time as most of the modems still used for downloading and programming systems are at least 35 years old as well (Hayes Smartmodem) Which run around 300-1200 baud. 5 |

I have used this product for over 8 years. They are the only ones that will always work no matter what platform you are on. Other usb-serial adapter are hit or miss as to functionality on different computers and system. This is the only one that I have found that the hardware and software are from the same people. This is the only ones that I would and do recommend. 5 |
