[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a couple years ago and the flexibility of being able to use USB a or USB c makes for the perfect companion when transferring files from my phone to the computer or from my phone to a friend's phone. Nowadays a lot of flagship phones don't have the micro SD card slot and as sad as that may be the ability to still use expandable storage externally makes up for it. From taking photos and videos in the summer and transferring them out of my phone to save space to being able to upload those photos and videos quickly onto my computer this has never let me down. I've even recommended others to get this since it's no regular USB storage device. It's a leap in tech that we didn't know we wanted until it arrived!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was previously using a Samsung T7 Shield drive for all of my Visual Effects work I do in After Effects. The T7 is great but I was running out of storage space and needed another drive. Luckily the Samsung T9 SSD 1tb just released and what an amazing upgrade. I ran the Black Magic drive speed test on both my T7 and T9 and the T9 was significantly faster. Moving large files to drive was super quick and seamless. The T9 has a very nice feel to it. It has a rubbery texture so there is some grip to it which is what you want on a portable drive. It came with both a USB A to C and USB C to C cable. This is convenient since I have a new MacBook Pro which has no USB A input, so I had the options for cables. I would highly recommend this drive for anyone looking for some external storage. Samsung drives are known to be very reliable and I feel pretty safe with having this drive hold my hours of hard work and not worry about losing it.
