The Olympus ME-52W Noise Cancellation Microphone adds further versatility to your Olympus Digital Recorder (A WS-321M in my case). The Microphone comes as part of a four piece kit that includes the microphone, a 1m long extension cable, a tie-clip style clothing clip and a foam wind screen that fits over the microphone. The microphone itself is hinged above the 'mic/input' jack on the top of the recorder where it can be adjusted horizontally by rotating it in the jack and vertically through using a hinge incorporated at the microphone's base. This external mic provides far superior clarity and range over the WS-321M built-in microphone! With the microphone inserted directly into the input jack it allows the user to hold the whole unit like a handle with the mic projected unimpeded out of the top. I found the mic very handy during news scrums and while taking personal notes as the risk of covering the recorder's built-in mic is eliminated. The tie-clip mic holder is useful mainly when recording a stationary subject or when recording yourself when you need your hands free. It's very straightforward to use and easy to remove the mic from it quickly. Lastly, the wind screen cap was also surprisingly useful. It really made a difference in sound clarity when recording in windy conditions and recording in a vehicle with the windows open or the top down. All in all this is a very inexpensive purchase considering the value and versatility it adds to your recorder. Really a 'must have' if you're serious about the recordings you make. 5 |

I can't say enough great things about this microphone. It's solid and heavy, which makes me feel good about a product. It connects without drivers (PC, possibly Mac, haven't tried) and should be a god send for Asio4all Driver users with one sound card on Win7. This solved a lot of problems as the Yeti is almost like having another soundcard due to the built-in drivers and built in headphone jack.Pro: Imagine listening to your melody or background music in your headphones (from the Yeti jack) and rapping or singing without feedback from the speakers. Probably the way you'd lay a vocal track down in a studio.Con: When my mouth is really close to the mic, it seems a bit unbalanced. When I get about a foot from the mic at center, it's balanced. I freaked out at first, but now I understand what it's doing. That shouldn't be a big deal and I don't see it as a reason to send it back. I still give it 5 stars.Bottom line, get this microphone.... You can not beat this deal as I've been telling co-workers that this has been the best investment that I've made in a long time. (Happiness to cost ratio)Seriously! 5 |

The cable that came with my RODE microphone is meant to plug into a camera. This adapter allows me to plug the microphone into a headset jack on my laptop (Surface Book 3). Works well 5 |

Is a great directional Microphone especially in nosier environments. The lightning jack is not very long and most iphone case users will find that they will either need to remove their cases or modify them. 5 |

As many of you know, the a6300 lacks a headphone jack. This cable does the trick by splitting the microphone jack into headphone and microphone, and works remarkably well. The only thing you should remember is that the recording device need to be self powered, otherwise this trick will not work. 5 |

This is a better alternative to an adapter without the wire, since it puts less strain on the jack. Not expensive. Used it for adapter a microphone to an XT-30 camera. Easy, inexpensive, and effective. I would recommend using a wired adapter for this application, since preserving the camera and its jack are crucial. 5 |

Works great on the Red Epic. This is especially important because the Red Epic is not wired for just any 1/8 microphone jack. The ME-52W can be left in the Red Epic for scratch or moved away from the noisy fans with the extension cable. 5 |

This microphone easily attached to my camera and couldn't be easier to set up (plug into mic jack on camera). The sound quality that I have been getting from this mic is great, a thousand times better than the internal microphone on most DSLRs. If you are on a budget and need some good audio, this is definitely not a bad choice. 5 |

The headphone jack on the Mac Pro 2019 is actually a combo jack. This adapter lets you connect both a microphone and headphones into that one jack. Works great. 5 |
