This drive surprised me for sure, I am actually able to record BlackMagic RAW in 12k on this, and 8k120FPS. Even bigger surprise is that it does not heat up nearly as bad as the T5 series does, even with these much higher top speeds. I built an external NVME 980PRO to external USBC case, and the speeds are on par with each other. Don't hesitate, it works perfectly !!! Quick tip, TEST your cables with a speedtest - I tried out a few different high speed USBC cables, and found a couple that gave me an additional 5-8 percent higher read/write speeds. Don't really need it, but if your trying to squeeze all the speed you can, worth a check. 5 |
