Finally a native wirelesses remote control for an Olympus/OM System camera. Great for long exposures, self portraits and time-lapse. Keep in mind that if the remote control is connected via bluetooth the remote camera application on your phone will not work simultaneously, likewise you can not get GPS data from your phone via bluetooth. It is fully compatible only with OM-1 (works both wireless and wired). However, it can also work wired with certain older Olympus cameras (OM-D mk II &III, OM-D E-M1X). Its range is around 20-25 feet, it is an IP57 dustproof and splashproof rated construction. 5 |

It's pretty simple to setup and use. The only drawback I see is that you have to be in front of the camera to work the remote. This is because the sensor on the camera is on the front of the camera. A Bluetooth version would be cool so I could activate the shutter from behind the camera. Canon are you listening? Anyway, the remote worked just fine when I wanted to be in the picture I was taking. 5 |
